Yep The USA is for sale just like The International corporate lobbyist with the lawyers control & buys Congress with super-Pacs with Foundations, But my favorite to hate on is dual citizenship members in authority who have two different loyalties to separate countries. America is nothing but a plan with The elites who formed The Unite Nations to control the whole world.

Smithfield Foods, Inc., is a pork producer and food-processing company based in Smithfield, Virginia, in the United States, and a wholly owned subsidiary of WH Group of China. Founded in 1936 as the Smithfield Packing Company by Joseph W. ... It was the largest Chinese acquisition of an American company to date.

In north MO, Smithfield bought out Farmland who bought Premium Standard Farms who bought up thousands of acres over 25 years ago. I resisted the confinement hog operations (within the law of course) but was overwhelmed by the local businesses who saw the influx as a windfall. The local government gave all sorts of kickbacks and tax wavers to keep the pig farm happy and now we have no tax base to maintain the roads that the Smithfield trucks destroy, entire areas of the county are untenable due to the stench, and the area has been invaded by all manner of foreign workers who followed the meat packing jobs. Our schools are a disaster, crime is rampant(especially drugs), and COVID thrives in the ghetto like living conditions.

Still no one seems to see Smithfield as the culprit or has any desire to force the company to pay for the damages to infrastructure or help fund the additional expenses of schooling children who can't even read, write, or speak English.

A one world business government! The United Nations is the head of it. They might censor Red China after The Hong Kong take over ! But I doubt it. They have already rubber stamped it! The W.H.O. has said the Wuhan virus cov-19 was completely natural with no help from the Chinese government in anyway except letting it breed in the population and deny it's presence to the whole world for 3 months before locking down Wuhan city after having a pot luck dinner with 40,000 thousand people and then allowing 5 million to leave the city the night before locking it down!😫

I pass on all Smithfield products while out shopping at the grocery store. Don't care if they are on sale for nearly free. It is the only way one person can combat these foreign takeovers.

A noble and commendable gesture BUT the "domestic market" means very little to Smithfield. About the only thing preventing them from shipping the entire production to China is transportation capability and the perceived public sentiment should they not sell any products to the "home market".
