The rumor is: FedEx and UPS are being badgered into stopping all shipping of ammunition. A "creative" way to severely restrict people's abilities to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights....without even passing any laws.

And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
UPS didn't deliver mine today. So I go to the hub and pick it up tomorrow.
Interesting article, but I'm not seeing anyone sinking capital into expanding production capacity right now. Getting existing production capability up and running, and running that production capacity as hard as possible, is going to happen, but the political climate is simply too uncertain right now for anyone to sink millions of dollars into a plant for production of consumer targeted ammunition.
I have to wonder too, if FedEx and UPS did implement such a policy of stopping the shipment of ammunition, if it could work -- in the short term -- to actually make certain retail-store supplies more available. It would be the smaller ammunition resellers -- who have to ship nation-wide who would be killed by such policy changes. The retail chains with physical stores would be getting ALL the production supply.
That's interesting; I got moved. Seems like it would be more of a "General Interest" story (at least to firearm enthusiasts) than a topic of Gun Rights and Constitutional Law. If such a policy was put in place by UPS and FedEx it would be about business decisions by private companies (with perhaps some political influence involved); it really wouldn't be (technically speaking) a rights or law issue.
Not as bad as what FedEx has done to me (dozens of times over literally more than a decade): deliver my stuff to my neighbors. I guess they can't see -- or don't understand -- that the big numbers on the house are supposed to match those little numbers on the package.
Yes, it got moved...by me.

Imagine a post about restricting people from exercising their Second Amendment rights ending up in the Gun Rights forum.
Keep anything else you find "interesting" about moved threads to yourself.
Ouch, glancing lick from the hammer. grins
Seems like there is an old saying that fits here on the GB forums and a good one.
"if you don't have anything good to say, then don't say anything".
Have a great day and ya'll be careful out there.
How can having nothing get any worse??? Ammo shelves have been empty for months, and forget about primers and powder and bullets.
