A few. These are a couple of my favorites.
Very cool,,
This Smith double 38 is my oldest one. The rest of my old Smiths will be coming up on auction soon Kasey now has them
I have shared this one before......It belonged to my Great Grandfather who was a Judge in South Dakota back in the 1940's. Back in those days there was not a security office in the court room so the story I got was he had a small pocket in his robe and carried this with him.....It is not worth much, but to me it is priceless !!!!
That ol girl is still shiny, savage. Nice.
William,I do remember you posting that gun now. Very cool, and agree on your value assessment.
These need a little "polishing".. Think Forgemonkey could get em shooting again??
Nothing here.
what stories could they tell?
I had a bunch, but I gave them all to Mike.
Look at the length of pull on those triggers. wow. Don't wear gloves.
Original American Eagle Luger, dating to 1901. One of the 1000 tested and rejected by the U.S. Army, during the first decade of the 20th Century. They were sold as surplus by Bannermans, after the Army rejected them.
Run them online..gun prices are up.
I had more then a few pin fire & percussion pistols that I couldn't give away. (Crappers for gun buy-backs.) Now recently, they sold for decent money.
My dad had a real nice collection back when I was a kid. Spoiled, greedy siblings took care of that.
Had about 75 American pepperboxes. Locust Fork sold the whole bunch for me. Casey is a true professional, never complained once about the weird accumulation of old iron. At least not to me; her family may have heard some grumbling.
1880 Remington-Rider tube feed Derringer, in .32 Extra Short Rimfire.
My Granddad was head Ranger in Yellowstone and this was his service weapon. Colt Bisley .357
I've got my grandma's nightstand gun. It's a Colt 1903 in 32 ACP, nickel with mother of pearl stocks. It turns 101 years old this year and probably hasn't had 200 rounds put through it.
No pistols but I have a Trapdoor Springfield.
I do. Wait, maybe I don't. Is that you FBI?
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Define vintage. If over 100 years I only have one - a 1914 Luger. If it is over 50 years then I have several, including High Standard, Walther p38, S&W, Colt. Something strange happened because I sure don't remember them being that old when I acquired them.😀 Bob
Guns, what guns.
Do you want to hear about my boating accident?
The oldest in my collection.
Nice. Look at that skinny grip, I bet that stung the hand when it went off.
I figure I'm stuck high and dry, my dad had to use an FFL to send the Bisley to me for Christmas, so Mister FBI already knows about it.
‼️ But then there was the robbery! A dozen guys broke in and stole my safe and ALL my guns! Spirited away in the dead of night, nothing but a hole where the safe used to be. The horror!
I was going to buy a 1911 to work on failure drills while shooting.
