Awesome sight. Did you get video?
No, I quick grabbed the camera, which fortunately had the telephoto lens on. It still turned out a bit fuzzy/grainy. :(
Here's the same boys before & after the "fight" (they were really barely sparring)...
And you can tell I edited the "fight" picture to make it lighter. I still haven't figured out all the 1,000 different settings on a real camera...
My buddy and I were hunting mule deer out on the desert a couple of years ago when we heard an awful racket start up. Grunting, clashing like a big wrestling match with antlers. So we crept up over a short rise to spy two nice muley bucks trying to battle each other into submission. Being peace-loving American guys, we hated to see such violence spill onto the desert so we ended that battle by shooting both bucks. Early end to the season and meat for the freezer!
Best.
I'd put my money on the big fella who has the high ground! Great picture callktulu and thanks for sharing it!
I’ve watched them in my hayfield and the smart one will work himself to the higher ground.
NN it's nice to know someone is out there doing their part to promote world peace.
Amen, Brother! Can I get a Hallelujah?
Best.
Awesome, thanks!!! :)
Thanks for sharing the great pics.....
where's the green font ... have to wonder what it was over 9mm vs 45 acp or glock vs 1911
I spent 45 minutes one morning in a Texas blind watching two 8 pointers. Watched from start to finish, they made a heck of a racket and the amount of power they had was incredible, they would literally lift each other off the ground and then flip the other onto their side with a big thud. One of the coolest things I've witnessed.
No doubt you were sitting there with a doe tag.
No, it was the first day there and I was looking for something bigger. 😉
Something bigger... but cuddlier.
Here's the Texas fight, the pictures are horrible, but cell phone cameras weren't great at the time.
The competitors
The fight begins
Finally the winner
Nice job Forge!!!
