What are some of your other hobbies?

My hobbies are all over the place, some last for years and some last a few months.
Did a little painting
Carved some antler
Made some musky baits
And played some guitar
Maybe one of these days I'll find one that sticks around forever. So, what kind of hobbies or projects do you find yourself doing?

Played 'some' guitar? That's quite a collection!
I'll send you my address when you're ready to give away an SG.
It'd look good next to my ES 330!
Damn!!! You got some talent!!! Great work!!!

My natural talent is drawing also. It's a knack that takes years but.
think I am gonna try crossbow, hope to get good enough to hunt by fall.......
but while weather is warm I love to golf, one of the few sports you can't blame anyone else for if you do bad, its all on you
staying alive another day
After three days you'll be splitting your own arrows.
I used to sky dive, SCUBA, and race mountain bikes..........Now I collect guns and ammo and gun books...........that's about it.
Once in awhile I make some pens.
Painted some walleye lures.
Dye and stabilize the wood for pens and knife scales.
I make about 10 knives a year.
Gregor, I hope that you might consider listing a few of your handmade items on the Gun Broker auctions.
Do alot of wood working. Had a granite mfg. tenant move out on me unexpectantly (UG). Left the building in a real mess. I salvaged many finished pieces and ended up making hard maple table bases for the salvaged tops!
Guns, motorcycles, reading, mechanic, hunting/trapping, being self sufficient
The only things I am good at is pissing people off and sarcasm
Photography...archery....Hunting....fishing....Kayaking....vintage stereo equipment....
I also have a collection of collections...😉
It's in my plan, just haven't gotten to it yet.
Please do. I never seem to have enough knives.
fishing , some woodworking, and hobby mechanics . Currently restoring a 1951 super a farmall , only tractor my daddy ever bought new . Waiting in the wings long term is a 1956 Mercury Monterey. Phaeton bought new by my grandfather
I honestly don't know where my work ends and my hobbies begin. I own a small, specialized auto repair shop and a "hobby farm". Started doing improvements to the land many years back and have bought several pieces of heavy equipment. Some of my neighbors found out about my "toys" and now I have a bunch of ponds to dig out and fence lines to clear. Getting so much paying work lined up I'm running out of time for my projects.
When spring get here and everyone starts planting I should be able to get back on my current project. I'm enlarging one of my ponds and adding an island to it. The pond will be a little over an acre in size and on the island I am going to build a cabin. That way I can say I have a vacation house on my own private island.😁
This is my latest toy.
A renaissance man...
I have have two hobbies started when I was about 16 yrs old cars and guns then reloading some where along the line
other hobbies also but nothing note worthy I have a bug that pushes me to buy about any thing that catches my eye
old tools knifes , fishing equipment and the list goes on
I paint military miniatures..
Wow. Some super talented folks on here. I am impressed.
I'm a dabbler trying new recipes, a little painting, read voraciously, bought a compound bow, some goats and chickens...lol.
Recently I've taken a huge love in camping, snowshoeing, riding bike (one I recently got back into) and trying spicy foods.
Some of my old hobbies I still enjoy on occasion are video games, sampling craft beer, hiking, and watching motorsports.
Hobbies I'd like to get back into more include fishing, hunting, and attending races in person (which includes photography as a by-product). I had quite a long streak of attending at least 1 Nascar or IndyCar race a year broken in 2019.
Jon
I've been doing more fishing lately. I had forgot how much I enjoy it.
I still get out to the local drag strips around here. Nothing fancy, just bracket racing my daily driver for fun.
I was going to list some, but after seeing the level of talent displayed here, maybe I'll just shut up. Me? I'm lucky to find my butt with both hands, much less do something artistic.
+1...

Beauty/talent is in the eye of the beholder. I'll never sell anything, but I enjoy it. Second one is the current project.
Dang......you do some good work.
Lots of talented hobbies for you folks. I enjoy things that get me outdoors, and that's about it. That also includes a multitude of hobbies I cannot afford.
The list, in order of importance.
Family
Friends
Hunting
Fishing
Traveling West, always West
Camping
Mountain Biking
Hiking
Did I mention traveling west???
Guns and shooting make the list at #3. Love some long range shooting, some shotgunning (missing wild birds), and lots of bowhunting.
I work on old chainsaws as a hobby.
Raise cattle as nothing more than a worthless hobby.
DANG, @jltrent what do you do with all those saws? If you have an MS660 you want to part with, drop me a line!
Wow, just wow!
I like climbing. I like to get up high in the ice and rocks. Solitude is a precious thing.
Makes me want to pee! Don
I like to do woodworking . . . and I have this "thing" about safes.
That's pretty darn cool.
Thanks.
Spectacular joinery and inlay. I doubt you’ll be changing the combination very often!
Nice work! Is that where you put the MIL's stuff in case of a fire?
Hops and beer+++

The inlay work might have been easier with a pin striping brush, but I think the Bloodwood will last a bit longer.
On the other hand the Bloodwood hinges won't take much stress if you slam the door.
Actually, I can change the combination. If you are familiar with that style of lock, you may notice the coil springs and "levers" over the tops of the combination wheels. I had to install them because I could not "drop" the number. It would just catch and move to another position. The movement was not free enough for the wheels to stop moving in the other direction.
That would just be stupid to install and non-functioning combination in a safe made from wood. Wait a minute . . . I think I might have just discovered a flaw in my security container.
