Ammo imports to soon stop
Understand there was meeting at the White House yesterday with anti-gun groups where the discussion focused on Biden , using his pen, to halt importation of ammo. I know this as been discussed in the past but now seem likely to occur soon. Unclear if it will also include guns and parts imported as well. For sure no more Russian steel case or surplus ammo to be had.

Got a news link or anything?
At the prices of even blasting ammo, steel cased, imported or not, unless you stocked up ammo before 2020 it is going to be a real issue for the foreseeable future. I suspect ammo and reloading supplies will be almost impossible to get for at least four years.
The Washington Times has an article on this posted today.
I have seen this same thing repeat since Bill Clinton won. Just give it some time and the supply will catch up.
Buy American is a phrase I hear often.
If true, I think those of you who believe this is an import/export policy issue are entirely missing the point.
I would not bet on that. Depends on what the def of "some time" is I guess. This is WORSE than any of the previous runs. The previous runs on ammo or guns were for the most part limited to certain types, IE: black guns, 22lr ammo. This time EVERYTHING gun related is going crazy. This is NOT the same. 😥
Not in my experience. In 2013 every weekday I was on the phone or computer trying to stock a gun shop and indoor range. There was no 22 or 38 or 380 or 9mm or 45 or even 30/30 ammo. I had around 20,000 rounds of 45 at home which I brought to work for range use. We were going out as far as 100 miles hitting every walmart we could find. I think it was even worse back then. Guns were just as crazy or maybe worse too. S&W M&P sports AR-15's which wholesaled then for $589.00 if I remember correctly, were SELLING for $1800.00 on Gunbroker. I remember standing in the S&W line that year at the Ellett show for hours trying to place an order for the year. I had one of my guys in the Ruger line waiting too. The dealer shows were just overrun that year. I attended shows in N.Y., S.C., and Texas in 2014 and they were crazy.
I really hope you're right Ricci. One thing I don't remember from the past though, is the talk about stopping imported ammunition from entering the States.
president pedels hogg
Is that some kind of code??
Kameltoe's agenda, the next one on the list he'll be signing, is no more internet ammo sales. No one seems to listen when I say Calif is the test bed for the commies. If you want to see what else is on her list, take a look at what's been passed in Calif.
I would suspect importation of firearms and related products to cease in the near future.
almost has now, at least for the cheaper turkish shotguns and such.
Placed an order for several Cimarrons.
Received about half, rest waiting to come across the pond. Not going to hold my breath.
I wish there was an 'agree' button instead of a 'like' button. Like. for instance, I agree with Trap but I don't 'like' what he forecasts.
win pumps are made in turkey, they will be no more? lots of lower priced guns are made in turkey sold under well known names
I'd be happy to have ANY ammo. I found a shop this week with .357mag for sale. He had two boxes and was willing to sell me one box of 50.
Same with .44mag there is none to be had unless it's Buffalo Bore at $75 a box. And there's maybe 10 boxes on the shelf. That's it.
Some of the high dollar firearms come from Italy and Germany.
I fear a lot worse is about to be announced in the next few weeks, remember he and she have promised for years to take away and out law all semi auto guns . and magazines
one swipe of his pen and millions of felon's will be created over night
I'm thinking they will make Reloading illegal too.. what good are guns without ammo...??
If they outlaw all foreign arms imports a lot of companies worldwide will be hurting. What percentage of their business is U.S. sales of imported firearms? Companies like Browning, Beretta, Kreighoff, Perazzi, FNH and others will be in a world of hurt. Bob
The opponents of the 2nd amendment could care less about how bad it hurts the American economy or anywhere else for that matter.
Just got wind of another one on the list, Ban on internet gun part sales.
These bans will certainly hurt the US economy, but like mentioned earlier, they could care less in their drive to destroy the 2nd Amendment.
This is not just a ploy to disarm the American citizen, but ultimately the entire world under a UN agenda to unite the world into a single global government and police force.
