Auction side shipping question,.....

Probably a stupid question, but is there any way to have an alternate ship to address (as a buyer) that isn't the one you are registered with?
Simple reason is I sometimes like to have packages shipped to my office instead of my home,.....especially if I'm not going to be there for a couple of days. I live in a semi-rural area, but packages have been known to disappear the past couple of years.
I'm hoping this is a safe auction side question to ask.

If you ask the seller usually they can send a non firearm wherever you want them to. Just let them know and it shouldn't be an issue.
I've done it many times. Usually the buyer will be out of town; but sometimes when he doesn't want his wife to see what he has purchased. Just ask the seller and there should be no problem.
Then he should have his girlfriend sign up on gunbroker.....
I appreciate the answers, and have sent some questions to sellers about this. I just thought you might be able to add an alternate shipping address like you can on many internet shopping sites.
FWIW, I generally contact the buyer to verify the address on gb is correct. I've had a few that have moved, and never updated it.
Have an issue with a firearm I purchased on gun broker that is not on the MA. Approved list and it was shipped to an FFA who won’t release it to me. Any ideas?
It is the buyers responsibility to make sure the gun that you want to bid on is legal in the area you are at . At this point many things could happen. Seller has no responsibility at this point. It’s between you and your ffl. If the seller wants to refund your money feel very lucky as he doesn’t have to.
If regular capacity magazines are the issue, you could ask, if you let him keep the mags, will they release it to you.
Gotta agree with gjshaw, this is all on you.
If it were something we had sold to you we would let you return it and I'd be listing it for you.....I would take the return shipping out of the sale and our 10% consignment fee. You would have to contact the seller to see if they will take it back and sell it for you and have them email over a shipping label to your dealer so the guy on your end isn't out any money. This would all depend on the people you are dealing with going along with that plan.
