So, as usual, Hot Momma has her favorite Russian TV network playing on our TV. The circus is very big in Russia and certain other parts of Europe. As I'm walking past the TV I look over at the TV and there are multiple beavers doing tricks in a circus ring.
Get your minds out of the gutter. I'm talking four legged dam building beavers. Upon reflection the four legged variety I'm sure is easier to train than the two legged variety. 😂
Am I the only person here on GB that had no idea beavers could be trained to perform in a circus??

I was scared to open this seeing a title like that!
"Upon reflection the four legged variety I'm sure is easier to train than the two legged variety."
I would not bet against that statement!
I tried to find some you tube video but only found a ten second, super blurry video that wasn't worth doing a link to it.
Roger that. 😉
Them there beavers just might put all of those dang FLEA Circus's out of business! 😁
dreher, I thought you were about to get banned there. 😛
Carpenter tricks? Hey this beaver can actually run a nail gun and don't belong to the union . Over here folks this beaver can drive a miniature older Ford Escort.
I think just about any thing is possible but never heard of a beaver(s) doing such things
many many years ago in Cherokee NC ( way before it became a huge tourist spot ) they had caged chickens drop in a dime maybe a quarter the chicken would come out turn on a light with a pull chain peck out a few keys on the piano get a few grains of corn turn off the light and go back in its hutch , they had some other animal trained to do similar acts but I do not recall what it was for sure , I am sure many chickens were trained to do it and were rotated after all they can only eat so much LOL there were several along the main street
just not the chickens along with them several + native American's in full (now not PC I am sure ) dressed as chief full head dress and buck skin face paint and so on ( like the old movies portrayed them 5.00 to take a photo with them I am sure they made a few $$ doing it and no harm they did it but today would get called out no doubt
select-fire, We need to see some pics of that in action. 😀
You should see the girls that train them and part of the acts . With free vodka the show has been a sellout.
been going on a long time, used to be a TV show back in the 60's about a familiy that was raising/training a beaver................
Forum Moderators can herd cats.
Anybody stationed at Subic Bay Navy base in the late 60s-early 70s and went to the bars in Olongapo City across the river saw amazing trained beavers.
