"Master" ... Carpenters pay heed !!!
Never saw anything quite like these joints:
It's being willing. I found out early that most men, regardless of cause or need, aren't willing. They blink an eye or draw a breath before they pull the trigger. I won't. ~ J.B. Books

Can you show us more pictures of that? That is amazing!
Some one was showing off his skills and they are out of this world !
Pfft. Allen Griggs can do that with a chainsaw.
Spectacular. My granddad worked with Gustav Stickley before he was a Park Ranger, and he made this just for fun. Man he was good at joinery.
That's pretty incredible. A person would probably die of old age before they ever got their cabin built..
Interesting, quite the craftsman to do that.
That's supmin' else right there now.
I did a googley search on the image and that is on a old granary in Slovenia!

You'd need some strong friends to help assemble those corners! And not tear up the wood fibers.
If you look close you can see that they are a just dropped into place one atop the other. There's no stress at all on the joint.
Well dang Neo, of course you’re right. I was thinking it was built like my granddad’s doodad.
Great googely moogely!
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
That's an impressive skill set!
I've always been amazed with the stock splice the Finns did on the M39 Mosins. They were light years ahead of the Russians, revamping a Russian rifle. If you really work at it, you could snap one of these stocks in half, but it will never break where that splice is.
Remember, Nanuq. This is a family friendly site so I don't think you're allowed to talk about your granddad's doodad...
just amazing!!!
No kidding, the only way they could have cut those curves is on a 45. Wow.
impressive for sure and well beyond my skill set
I am sure there is American craftsman who can do it never searched , but I have seen a few videos of Japanese craftsman that are down right amazing cutting joints and woodworking
Gosh! I have always been impressed with just simple tongue and groove joints in old dresser drawers, fancy boxes, and such. But THIS really adds a lot to over the top work and a puzzle I cannot quite put together in my mind! There sure are some very talented craftsmen out there or long dead ones as well!
Nice
