why? would it be locked ?
No rational reason of course, but things have changed here.
Hope you do well in your recovery.
thanks

Wife and I had it last March along with 30 other people from our church. We got over it but it left lasting effects. We both have bad breathing problems and it effects the heart also. Time, fluids, and rest all help.
thanks
As far as I know, rest, fluids and nsaids to relieve pain and reduce fever are about all you can do. Good luck and get well soon. Bob
I had it in Feb last year. Drink lots of fluids, take Tumeric and vitamins and get outside and exercise to work your lungs. Taste and smell return in a month or so. The lasting effects for me went on for about 3 months, then I got Rocky Mtn Spotted fever and forgot all about china flu.
Wife and I both caught it toward the end of December. She had it worth than I. She was miserable, with overall body aches, an extreme headache, and extreme fatigue. Stayed in bed 7 days. Didn't eat for 4 days. Didn't drink unless I brought it to her and made her drink. She seems to be pretty much back to normal.
My case was mild, fortunately, because someone had to take care of Dawnie. I had a stuffy nose, a cough, a mild fever, and lower back pain for a few days. I am over it, but my blood/oxygen stats are still a little low, running around 91-93% when it was 96-97% before I caught the Covid.
My youngest son (33), his wife, and 10 year old daughter all caught it about 2 weeks ago. Son was the worse for it with severe headache loss of taste\smell and shortness of breath. His wife and daughter just had fairly mild cold symptoms with loss of taste\smell. All officially tested positive. All seem to be improving well.
The sad and scary part of their situation is the fact that both of their employers wanted them to come in to work knowing all of their issues! They both work in retail and daycare places with a lot of public contact!
It was my understanding there would be no more Covid threads.
According to Doctor, I had it in December 2019. It was a tough 7-10 days but hard to tell if some of the things that seem to be bothering me are simply the result of being 70 years old or aftereffects. As far as I can tell, the deadly outcome is generally due to "other" causes. Either that or I need to be looking for a Superman cape.
Liquids, rest and treat the symptoms. Meds for fever and body aches, Tylenol, ibuprofen mostly, I would use Tylenol as it's easier on the stomach, Seek medical attention if you have breathing issues or get to weak to care for yourself.
I hope you recover to full health, as far as discussing this topic, it appears personal health and anecdotal discussion may be allowed, but try to debate the science and poof...
i was diagnosed last tuesday. i have a very good small town doc, for the last 25 years. he immediately sent me to the hospital for a monoclonal antibody IV, also gave me an oral antibody and a steroid perscription. i really have had very few and mild symptons. pollen season is here and the devil dust is thick in the air and i was just recovering from a bad chest cold. i live alone and so far the worst part is the self quarantine. oh and by the way, i had my first vaccine 10 days before i was diagnosed.
Be hard to say. You may have been exposed before the vaccine, the day of the vaccine or even shortly after. Having mild symptoms could also be assisted by having had the vaccine and a head start on antibodies to fight it with.
Whatever the case I hope your symptoms stay mild and you recover quickly.
the likes are not because you had the virus
they are thanks for the responses
You may want to get yourself an SpO2 meter if you don't have one already. They are cheap, and it's the most important thing you should keep an eye on with this crud. Some people are walking around with very low readings and don't even know it at first. If you are healthy you should read 95% or above,.....I am typically 98 to 99%.
Amazon.com : SPO2 meter
If you don't already take a daily multivitamin, supplemental vitamin D would be a good idea.

Perhaps that explains what happened to a thread about the 2nd COVID shot. The OP started it, just a plain no BS thread, I was the first to respond about my wife and I just getting our 2nd shot and I had no sooner posted it and poof, the thread was gone! 🙄

I have seen this same regimen recommended a number of times to be taken as a prophylactic mainly.
My own Cardiologist seemed to think highly of it as well. Worse case it can't hurt you. I've been taking it a few times a week for several months now. I hopefully will be getting vaccinated in the next couple of weeks, as our Governor has enabled people under 65 with certain health issues to get a form signed by their doctor, and they can be vaccinated. He is going to fill out a form for me Monday.
My mother had her second dose of Moderna on 2/26, so after 3/12 she should have the full effect.
Watch your O2 levels closely!!!
