Wanting to purchase a Katana Sword and looking for advice
Comments
I don't but I know a guy who is an expert.
This is not a Katana but it will get you his info so you can call him. He is in Hope Mills NC and is a really good guy. His name is Ed Hicks.

Thanks, from what I am reading the old real Katana swords are heritage related..most passed from generation to generation most never making the market. Some do and are expensive. However the folks are now competing making them and price has come down some. The trick is in the metal used. There lies the cost and time to make one. This seller has a well known maker.. and is priced right. There is an original on GB and it is 35k

P3skyking collected swords, I believe. I kinda miss the old grouch.
Do you want a high dollar katana as an investment or do you want something to use for cutting practice on rolled straw mats and such? If the latter take a look at Cold Steel. These blades are nicely made and far less expensive than an original.
I messaged ya
I received it. Looking for a higher grade. Thanks.
Cold steel much less expensive. Looking for a tamahagane blade . Yes it will be an investment. Not wanting to swing away at items but know well if the right blade it will cut. The real cheap ones are just cheap.
