May just be me, but I think that is an ugly gun....
Cool I even Bid on it.
That is one ugly gun!
Ah, but a gun with a history most don't know. Good luck Sam.
I didn't bid enough.
Eugene was a smart guy. I know this is kind of weird but I like the AR 18.
Only made about 1200 so the rarity and cool factor is up there. At only 5.5 pounds, I bet it kicks a bit though. I've seen a few for sale over the years but this is the only one with all three choke tubes and the box. Bob
I thought about bidding, it would be cool to have, but I'm shotgun poor as it is,
As we all know, "AR" stands for "assault rifle," so this firearm and auction should be canx immediately. 😋
Watching, I got to shoot one back in '64-'65. Kicked pretty bad, but was accurate on the skeet range.
Plastic stock and forearm. I bet it will kick the snot out of the shooter.
That FFL is a moron. They don't accept C&R licenses. I know that gun isn't C&R eligible, but it pisses me off just the same.
Why do some FFLs think they shouldn't accept a C&R?
Screw'em. I'll vote with my wallet.
Yes, I WOULD have bid on that gun. They are stupid rare.

Wasn’t there a member named armilite here?
I saw that note and agree with the moron thing.
Who was the administrator here on the forum that works for GB that said to report any seller that doesn't accept a C&R license and he would set them straight.
Maybe that doesn't apply to a top 100 seller?
The gun is 57 years old so why wouldn't it be C&R eligible?
That was CaptFun, who no longer works Gun Broker. In addition, he is no longer and administrator or a moderator. CaptFun is now an ordinary forum member. Save your notifications/reports.
Nunn does not accept C&R licenses, tell him he is a moron. He does have a good reason and perhaps this seller does too.
IF you leave money on the table by not following FEDERAL LAWS, then you are a moron. WHY would you do this? Are you not in business to MAKE MONEY?
YES, it is your business, and you can do what you want. BUT, if you want to make LESS MONEY, then you are a moron.
I don't care who you are. 😋
Merc
Whoops.........you are correct. I just glanced at the dates, and was thinking it was 47 years old.........been a long day.
Merc
In nunn's case it is a matter of driving 30 miles to ship vs. pick up at his shop. So yes, he is in business to make money.
Ok, that makes sense. Thanks for the info!
