Good book, strong man, as best as I can recall, a decent movie. R.I.P.
One of the real old school tough guys. RIP Mr. Liddy.
He had a great talk show. I remember listening to it in Atlanta in 2000.
Hearing of his death brings back memories. I was the front-page editor at a daily newspaper during the Watergate era when Liddy and others became household names. I got to know them, vicariously, with all the stories I handled.
RIP
A tough guy would have taken the fall immediately and would have protected his President from the incompetence of people he trusted.
Nixon was brought down because he tried to protect this 'Tough Guy'.
The Watergate break in was trivial, and given McGovern's position in the polls, was also stupid.
While not a fan, it was good to see him pay his debt to society, pick himself up and become a success a second time.
RIP G.

Loved his talk show, and his gun of the month calendars...
The political corruption we have witnessed in VERY recent history makes Watergate look like a kids birthday party.
RIP Mr. Liddy
Love that guy. He will be sorely missed. RIP G-man.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Liddy did take the fall. The incompetence was others, including Nixon not knowing when to shut up.
I loved the G-man and his book as well as talk show......RIP
I loved to listen to him telling of the guns his wife had since he was a felon and could not have one.
Some of which she kept under his side of the bed ;-)
He was imprisoned in the worst prison in the country. They, the US Gov tried to break him and he never talked.
John Dean et al talked like a bunch if bitches but he never did. Was he a a bad guy, probably but he was a stand up guy and for that he deserves respect.
I liked him...............RIP
I liked him and enjoyed the radio show, especially the review of and comment upon the news.
Will was a pretty interesting book. He wrote a couple novels too. Never pulled any punches how he felt about John Dean.
Yep, a teachable moment.
Corruption flourishes because we have corrupt DOJ: Partisan hacks, political operatives, and an assortment of common crooks. Add in the synergist effect of an equally crooked and partisan media, there is no end in sight.
Give Trump credit for trying to do something about it.
RIP G Man
Name, rank and serial #.........that's all he knew, 👍️

I listened to him for several years in the '90s. I remember him saying he was 66-67 years old. Very entertaining guy; definitely held old school views on the way things should work. A true patriot and had a genius-level I.Q. I haven't listened to him for over 20 years but he and his kind will be missed.
