Have a good chuckle on me.....How my Easter morning started out.....

Up early, we made venison egg casserole and sweet rolls to take to church for the brunch between services. I got clean up and even got out a sports coat for the special day as I am a greeter at the door almost every Sunday....My bride suggests we take her ride today as it will be easier to unload the food. I almost always drive my truck but said her idea was fine......
So loaded up, opened the garage door and rolled out.....and a horrible noise was heard...I assumed the food had fallen over in the back of vehicle.......NOPE....I had run over the grill !!!!! So by the time I got it out from under my brides vehicle, I was covered with ash and come grease.....I threw the remains of the old Webber in the yard, my bride dusted me off and I washed the grease from my hands.....And we were off....
The rest of the day went better after that....Great morning of worship, fantastic food and fellowship...and a nap when I got home....
Today I am going grill shopping !!!

It's just not much fun when that happens.
Did you forget that you had put it behind her car so she would do it and then you'd get a new grill? 🤣
I always knew the Holy Grill would someday turn up by accident!! 😅
It was still hot from the night before so I did not move it before I crashed out for the night....It was behind her ride and I remember thinking to myself, no problem, we are going to take the truck tomorrow any way.....guess I forgot about that thought process....although not on purpose, it was about time for a new one anyway 😀
One of my buddies from church texted me today and said....Man I'm tired, I feel like a grill that got run over... You can always count on your friends..

I'm just wanting to know what a "venison egg" is that you make a casserole out of? 😀
It's not quiche, I can tell you that much...
Ok.....Venison sausage and egg Casserole !!!!!! Hash browns and cheese all cooked together....Good stuff !!!!
I assume you got a new grill large enough to need the truck to get it home?☺️
A venison egg is similar but not the same as an Easter bunny egg. 😁
When it comes to grilling, I am just a good old Weber kettle grill....charcoal and maybe a few different wood chips to change the flavor a might...so all I needed was my bride's little ride...
