And bought a Glock!😮 A 23 Gen 2. Shoots better than I was expecting, but it still feels like I am holding to a 2x4. I think it needs a 357sig barrel..

prayers from ga ...lol
next range trip try after a first shot , let the trigger reset about 1/8 in and click , that’s all you have to do for the next shot , very little to break the rest of the mag .
a couple years back I decided to get a glock ( I know ) my son has a couple his buddies have some one shoots in matches and he is good the pistol is a dream to shoot with all the mods he has tossed into it. any way I even bought some factory magazines ahead of time when I found them on sale . ( I think even a drum mag ) then crap hit the fan and prices went crazy so I may get one or maybe not if things do not settle down . my youngest son and a nephew are both FFL holders but I would rather find a nice used one with some extra tossed in and let some one else take the new price hit LOL
like always its not a matter of need like most gun nuts its just a want . 😮
I bought a 23 police turn in a few years ago and I can hit what I shoot at with it.That was about the time everyone decided to hate the 40 cal and I found boxes of high dollar ammo and factory mags for 10 bucks each at a gun show so I am good on 40 S&W Glock needs.
OMG!!!!! I thought you meant you had became a demoncrap!!
I don't have a 40 but I have a 357 SIG. I must say its one of my favorite guns to shoot, its a G32 the mid sized gun and I carry it quite often.
The NCHP carries the 357 and so does the TX dept of safety, they carry it for penetration on trucks and cars. I did some tests on a 1978 chevy truck tailgate I have and it drills through like a laser. I find the round very accurate and the recoil is not bad, more than a 9mm and sharper than a 45. One thing about it, is its loud.
I can shoot in my yard so I opened a sliding door in the finished basement, went to the back and shot a few rounds without ear protection. It was really loud. I have done this with other guns and I think this was the loudest of them all. So it is not an inside the house gun. Other than that I like it.
I don't reload for it so I bought a heap of ammo a few years ago both carry and practice stuff. I carry the same ammo as the State Patrol guys.
Great fix, then it will be a 2x4 with a good barrel. If it already shoots better than you expected, maybe it needs a Sig grip.
The only mods I'd recommend are an extended slide release and mag release. It's amazing how much easier the slide release is to operate with that tiny bit of an extension.
Still have not joined the dark side . Close as I have come is the grey side . Finally bought a plastic gun a couple of years ago . S&W shield 45 . Really like it for edc . Nothing really against Glock it doesn’t fit my hand
I was hoping you'd switched to Linux.
I'm neutral on Glocks. Only fired one once and had no problems with it at all but never bought one either.
I received a G23 for a retirement gift.....great firearm....
Gag gifts are a retirement tradition! Don
Johnny Glock has excellent triggers available, they are a drop in item that really improves the crappy Glock factory trigger. I highly recommend them.
Worse!
Oh pleeeze!! There is no comparison. Yes, a Glock is fugly but they almost always work and only go off when they are not supposed to and blowup very infrequently.
Demoncraps rarely work and are frequently going off and blowing up when they are not supposed to.
A Glock you can unload, leave it somewhere and it wont bother you. A demoncrap, there ain't no place you can leave one but what it wont irritate the poop out of you!! 😁
You pull the trigger they go bang! What's not to like?
