Somebody likes Eric Clapton, it seems.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain

I saw them live at Chastain Park Atlanta, in October 1968. You had to be in the right place at the right time this group wasn't around for long.
That was one of the first .45's I bought way back when !!
I liked Clapton and Cream, but I preferred my Cream Whipped! 😁
OK! Now everybody.....let me have it! 😲

Daaaaaaaaaaaaayyyuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmm that man has chops.
And what a pleasure to see it performed live, no auto-tuning, no messing with the sound. You stand up there and do it.
When guitarists get to this level, when it's just an extension of their body and brain, how can you say any one artist is better than another?
SRV makes me cry and wish I was a better man. Listen to the Sessions with Albert King. Clapton does things with "off" weird chords and progressions that are always exactly right. "Son" House makes me taste the bitterness in his past, but there's always some sunshine there. Les Paul is a machine, not a man. Yngvie Malmsteen just pisses me off, and Eric Gales makes me believe the world can be, and will be a better place.
