Ruger price check

There's one for sale locally and I can't find any on Gunbroker. It's a 1963 Ruger Mark I with factory muzzle brake. Just wondering what a fair price to pay would be. Thanks

Muzzle brake?
Yeah, says Sturm Ruger on the underside. Here's a picture from the top.
I believe there were a ver. Never mind.
Why would you need a muzzle break on that gun? Recoil is not noticeable.
You wouldn't.
I offered the guy $500 just because I've never seen one, but he turned me down.
I would guess that it would bring close to $1,000 on the auction side. If it's factory original, people would be after that. I have never seen one, really cool...
He countered my offer with $575...maybe I should grab it for that.
I would be all over that.....
Having /seen literally hundreds of Mark 1-3 of Rugers, I have NEVER seen one of those in that factory configuration. I would just get it.
Have an identical one in my office from our latest batch from a prominent Ruger collector. It'd is a "factory" muzzle break but they were not installed at the factory, it was an accessory you could buy back in the day.
I sold that one for like $550 I believe. Here is a picture I took of part of the latest batch. I've sold several for him on here, a couple months ago I bought 19 from home and a couple weeks ago bought 26 more since the first 19 were gone.
I think that the gun in question has a lot of finish wear, although the photo isn't very good. Plus, replacement grips. $300 is a little more than I would pay.
You don't need a muzzle brake if you shoot Standard Velocity rounds.

Sounds like a realistic deal..or you could trade a dozen 2x4s and a couple sheets of plywood.
