That is ludicrous. I am not doing it and I see more and more people that feel the same way.
I am not getting the shot either. I have had CCP Flu and I don't want the shot. My mother in law told me I should get it anyway because the immunity wears off. She also said since they are vaccinated they could give it to me, I said "Give it to me" I don't care. I have had it before, lived and I will be fine if I get it again. Heck I had CCP flu and rocky mountain spotted fever at the same time and I am fine.
This crap is just more government control over your life. They have seen a crack and are exploiting it, Fear.
Like some guy said once; "Americans are not a fearful people" and that goes double for me.
Nothing scares you except a tiny little green lima bean. I'm leaving now on my way to Smithfields for a pint of Brunswick Stew with lots of lima beans.
The linked article is an information piece with speculation of various paths and outcomes. No where did I read mask were staying forever. In fact masks weren't really discussed. Being vaccinated or not is a person's choice. IMO, like Sam, if a person has had the virus they should carry some immunity and the need for the vaccine is questionable.
The virus is here, it's real. IMO our government has overreacted on mandates but not on the vaccines. Yes I think the government has tested and stretched government powers beyond reasonable bounds. But that does not alter the real issue of what to do and how to do it in the future. The article addresses this and I thought it was well written. It doesn't cover everything but then that would take a large book just to try.
I haven't donned a mask in about a month and don't carry one with me any more.
Some will die in hot pursuit
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
I haven't worn a mask since my last airplane ride on 28-January and have attended multiple rodeos, volleyball games since then both at indoor and outdoor arenas.
KMA is how I feel .
If my Grandson gets entered in the Xtreme Bull riding in Palmer Alaska the 29th of May we will have no choice but to comply to fly up, but I plan to order a couple with this statement
Florida governor just issued an Executive Order striking the mask mandate and the fines imposed on bars etc, this was going to happen anyway but not until July.
"Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you"
Here's the deal guys. If you came to my house and I said "house rules are that guests must keep one hand on top of their head at all times", your choices would be to do so or leave. If a place of business says wear a mask, do so or stay out. It's simple respect.
Now, I don't believe in the idea that masks do anything to prevent disease but I do have respect for what business operators are asking.
I don't drink beer. If I am invited to your house . . . and you bought some beer for me, you are going to have an excess amount of beer.
This will require you to invite more people. It will also mean I have more spare time for myself. It also means you might be spending some extra money for your beer inventory, so you will have to drink it yourself.
I find myself seeing the must wear mask sign at the door and find all the employees not wearing them. I quickly unmask and do my business. The door signs are STATE mandated.
One such place is our local small town Drug store.
I agree. With the state mandating them to put up signage, I enter without a mask anyway. If they ask me to leave, I do and don't come back. It only happened a couple times, and it was down in Oregon over on the left coast. But once I left that area I've not been told to leave since. Haven't been over to the wet side of this state much, but I imagine it'd be similar to that of Oregon. They're looney over there.

Uhh... No.
Well there is the plus side that the people in WalMart look better. Bob

When was the last time you saw a government edict, regulation, or law expire? How about NEVER!

As for masks, they need to go away.
KMA, clowns. I am a rebel without a clue and will not obey the jacks in not charge.

THIS MASK IS AS USELESS AS JOE BIDEN.
Mule
De Santis just stopped the mask mandates in Florida

Not this ole boy. If the bastages are going to use me for a test to check out the vaccine I sure ain't wearing a mask.
Was not going to get it but the only person who could change my mind was my cardiologist and he did a pretty good job of splaining why I should.
Had the J and J, felt the best I have in a long time for a few day after the shot.
The shot should be by choice, get it if you want it, don't get it you if you choose not to. Same as a face diaper.
I will on overseas airplane flights and at big gun shows where I always manage to come home with a cold. Makes me purtier too.
Well, it's the New York Times. Did you expect they would print anything different than the government (CDC/WHO) propaganda?

Are you gonna put a beer in my other hand? If so we're good! 😂
