Shiggles has a new buddy

#4 had a football game last night at War Memorial in Little Rock. Kids didn't want me driving home late last night so I stayed in NLR.
On the way home this morning a dog was blocking traffic on Hwy 67 north. He was trotting down the middle of the road and going up to every car as it slowed down to a crawl.
Obviously very friendly and wanted to go home with someone. Apparently that someone was me.
I couldn't leave him there to get hit or cause an accident. He was in an area where the speed limit is 75 mph. Near Judsonia for my Arkansas peeps.
He loaded into the truck with no issues and slept all the way home. He was covered in swamp water from his belly to his toes. #1 and I gave him a bath as soon as we got home. I gave him a dose of Nextguard for crawlies.
Thinking he is about 8 months old. Wants to be a lap dog. I put his pic on Facebook to see if I can find his owner. If not, Spot will be his name.

good for you...your friendship will be rewarded many times over...it has been only 4 days since our 11 year buddy has died...be a while before we can stop grieving and think about another

Good on you, the dog knows ........ and he will love you forever.
I've never seen a dog named Spot that was more appropriately named.

we gained a new cat ( about a 6 top 8 week old kitten several months back ( even got his name from a suggestion on here Rhode ) similar fashion ( + more in the past )
