Cant fool the flys!
Living on a lake we get the "May Fly" hatch every year. Harmless, but just pesty. Litterly clouds of them. Live for only a day or two to mate, I don't think they even have mouths!
Better flies, than skeeters!
Electronic bug zapper on the porch should do the trick
Nope cannot fool the flys.
Try taking a bath.
You can cut a big hole in the seat of your britches and remove your shorts and them flies will not bother your face. (This tip is from experience) Also works for Gnats and No SEE UMs.
You can then have them follow you out of the house like Pide Piper.
Getting back into the House with them flies swarming your behind is going to be an issue.
Golden Marlin fly bait from Amazon or from tractor supply
Raccoons like it mixed with a little bit of grape pop.
You can sharpen up on your skills of the orient honorable Aztngundoc. Just remember to keep the fly catching chop sticks away from the ones in the kitchen! 😁
You think your flies are bad.... how quaint. Mosquitos can be deadly.
Grandpa use to spread chicken manure from commercial chicken houses on farm and it had dead chickens mixed in it. The flies were a nightmare in the old farmhouse after spreading that chicken manure. They always used fly paper that you pull out from round tubes, Soon as fly landed on the strip he was finished. Super sticky.-------------------Ray
Not to get off the "FLY" topic but isn't this the year of the 17 year locust?
get a sphynx or cornish rex cat. we've had both and it seems those breeds are avid bug hunters in the house. they played with mice and let them live but bugs and all flying insects didn't stand a chance. It was amazing to watch them hunt down flying insects.
Read once that some "expert" estimated that there were more insects in a square mile of tundra at peak season than there were mammals on the rest of the earth. Nanuq's photo reminded me of that.😁
