Glock conversion barrels

Does anyone still make a Glock 30 to 10mm conversion barrel/kit? I had read that you could drop in a Glock 29 factory barrel, but you may also need to replace the extractor?
Thoughts?

KKM did/does -
Not sure about the extractor swap but I believe you would want G29 mags as well.
Yes, G29 mags would be necessary. Thanks Dave.

Storm Lake
I believe those are out of stock there (and everywhere) because they don't make them any more.

They never made the reverse that I can recall; From the 29 to the 30. But, then I realized I already had the best caliber - 10mm auto! 😁
You will probably have to change the extractor as the 10 is slightly smaller in diameter than the .45. I've read that you need to do the same thing when switching a 40 to a 9 so it would make sense to do it switching from 45 to 10.
whatever conversion barrel this guy is using I would stay away from

In another video he done. He changed to a heavier recoil spring and tried a different extracted and still had problems
Perfection!
Oh buoy
Right up 'till you start fiddlin' with 'em...
I just got a response from KKM: no go on the 29 BBL because it has a smaller breach face and won't lock up properly (leading to inaccuracy) at best and damage to the gun in the long run (at worst). And they don't make a conversion bbl. :(

I looked into converting my 21 into a 10mm awhile back. Looking all over the web for conversion barrels I learned that the conversion barrel is really just a standard G20 barrel. Picked one up and some mags and it doesn't work.
I'll shoot it again today and post some pics.
Side note are Glock 40sw extractors and 10mm extractors the same part? I converted a Glock 27 to 9mm and now have an extra 40sw extractor. Will need to see if that will drop into my 21.
So, when you say it doesn't work, what does that mean exactly, since apparently you can shoot it?

Mr P,
Look at storm lake barrels they have the conversion. I am not sure what else you would have to do. If you go to Glock Talk they have some good threads about doing what you want to do. One thing I do know is a standard g29 barrel will not work it must be a "conversion" barrel like in the link below.
BTW I looked here but there were none for sale on GB.
Hi Sam, Thanks for that link. I've seen it already, unfortunately. They're out of stock because Storm Lake doesn't make them any more. I too looked on GB and didn't find any. I don't think anyone makes them any more, for whatever reason. One possible reason I ran across while searching was folks didn't follow the advice to replace the extractor as well, and then blamed the bbl mfg for the whole setup not working properly. I dunno if that totally makes sense, but that's what I've read.

I have seen the same. Maybe on another forum you can find one for sale. I wonder if you got a G29 upper if it would slide on your lower. Then there is always that E place.
All sorts of failures to feed / eject. A complete slide / barrel would be the way to go.
