What do you have to do to be "verified?" Apparently, not much.

My cousin just got screwed by Zelle. If there is any problem, they are completely hands off and you're out your money and that is their policy. You have no protections like even with PayPal (which you can't use for gun transactions... or shouldn't). I'd only ever use Zelle to get paid or to send money to family or friends.

Venmo is owned by Paypal, and uses the same user agreement. 2j prohibits firearms, ammo and most other related items.
