Moms been in the nursing home going on 3 months. I speak to her at least twice a month. Well right after Memorial Day my younger sister and her got in some sort of bad discussion and my sister told my Mom.. quote.. I just wish you would die... Mom went ballistic and told her to leave. Well the screws have been put on the Sister... the Nursing home banned her from visitation. Sad but those two just cannot get along.

truly sad situation , not the time in life to be acting in such a manner
we had many not so good experience's with my MIL in a nursing home . I may post about some time.
Sad situation, as the big brother you have to try and get them to reconcile if you can, but don't let it affect your relationship with either one of them...
Sorry to hear of this situation....it is all so stressful in and of itself to have a loved one in a nursing home...I guess there is one in every family that makes it harder...
Prayers for Peace and comfort....
That won't happen. Sister has been a problem since in HS. Dad slapped her at supper right off the chair for calling Mom a witch.. insert another letter. .. All about money. Mom has a will and my two sisters get all of her bank accounts after death. Problem is it is not their money yet..and I am Power of Attorney spending it to keep Mom as happy as possible.
BTDT -- and there's no good way out. Best you can do is to make sure sisters get a complete accounting of how much money there is and where it is going. They may have inflated idea of how much there is and won't like how it's being spent. Keeping them informed is best move on your part.
If there are questions best to get them answered now, not later after doubt/negative feelings have had time to fester.
( A quarter-mil faded away from my granddad's estate but doing anything about it would just make things worse and not bring the money back.) Hope your situation doesn't get that bad.
I didn't know my Moms finances till a few months ago. No way am I discussing Mom's business with either sister. Bills need paid and I am keeping firm records. If either want to challenge that they are welcome in a court of law. That is the exact reason Mom put everything in my hands as power of attorney and her attorney as a co- executor ( since I am out of state )
I have no clue what will happen when the time comes. Our three seem to get along with each other two at a time at all times.....its never the same two either, spin the wheel and find out who they've tossed to the wolves at any given time. I feel for whoever the odd man out is when it happens. You can't fix this nonsense either, they might be upset over something legitimate, but most of the time is just seems to be in the water. Whoever the odd man out is when both of us are gone will probably be stuck in that status for the rest of their lives.
End of life is never a pleasant experience but your sister should have tempered her feelings and said nothing. All 3 of my immediate family are gone now but my late sister took care of mom the last few years and she and I never had a problem on how everything was handled. I guess I was one of the lucky ones.
