And we all thought regular ammo was hard to find! Nice looking rifle, Kasey.
Where in the world would you find ammo for that? I like the looks of the rifle though.
Would that be considered a "curio"?
It was introduced in 1991 . Ammo is proprietary . Expect it will be hard to obtain( uber expensive ).Lots of writeups in the gun rags when introduced . Think it sold about as well as the remington etronix
Can you reload for it?😁
I'm familiar with the Voere (Kufstein) firearms. I have four. There is also a Voere (Germany) product. Yes, reaction time with electric ignition is virtually zero but apparently folks didn't care and they didn't sell. We will probably talk about my Voeres and other items Casey.
ok question , what is the ejection port for ? if it's using caseless ammo what is getting ejected ?
nice looking rifle , the stock looks alot like what i've seen on a CZ 550
Perhaps to unload a chambered round without firing the weapon? Caseless and electronic ignition ammo is interesting but my thoughts are the drawbacks outweigh the benefits like weight savings and faster lock time. Bob
I have Voere 22l r semi auto and telling you they are made good. That would be a nice curio. IF I was younger, well you know the story.
Ohh darn, I tapped it a little and now high bidder.🧐
Nice.
Very cool rifle and system.
The only caseless ammo i can find here on gb is for the old Daisy 22 rifle .
Voeres website shows it but no idea on price
This one is a first for me. I think the Gyrojet was right up there with this one....as far as "I didn't know this existed until I was holding it" category.
Every time I think I've seen everything something COOL comes my way.
With the lack of primers, electronic ignition might get popular.
This was actually my own rifle. My thanks to the forum members who bid on it, and my thanks to Kasey, who brought it in at more money than I had expected.
Mark it did well ,better than i would have thought given the ammo issue . Had it been a regular cartridge gu. I would expect closer to $1500.00
I agree. Had it been in a caliber like .222 Remington Mag it would have brought far more money. In fact, I wouldn't have sold it. The casesless ammo is out there, but hard to find. it. I was offered big $$$ for the ammo by ammunition collectors, but the rifle is useless without ammo. Thanks to Locust Fork and to the Gun Broker bidders.
does it actually spark? or is there some type of primer material that lights when hit with firing pin? if spark, couldn't you use a pyrodex pellet like they use in the muzzleloading rifles, may take some experimenting on bullet/sabot fit but may be possible........... just little messier to clean
