At least here locally we did. Today at 1:30 pm it was 115°. At around 2:00-2:30 that good old offshore marine air started moving in. Now at 7:00 it's 66°. Toad, how did you make out today? How about the Puget sound guys, did it cool down up there?

Guess where your heat went!😉
Your place?
My thermometer gets in the sun in the late afternoon, but it read 119 at 6:30, but the marine air has started rolling in, and it's 104 in the shade now, and cooling down slowly. Just for fun, I used my infrared tire temp checker on the asphalt today around 1:30, it read 157 degrees. Looks like we get a break into the upper 90's tomorrow, and then a little cooler for the next week.
Right you are! We had a very dry spring and now with this on top of it, everyone is holding their breath as far as fire seasons go.
20 miles southeast of Seattle…High was 111; just hit 90 on the way down. Wasn’t too bad, but glad it’s over.
In the 80s and rainy here in Central Texas..............global warming..........lol
Went for a drive to cool down. No AC at home. Going through West Olympia it was 112, then going up the Satsop River it dropped to somewhere in the 80's. Highest we had here at home in Lacey was 112, but now at 9:00 pm its a pleasant 89.
Currently about 75f with light showers will reach about 84f today, I like the "cooler" temps we are getting this week, but I wish we could just get the rain for about 2 days and then gone for a week or two... this lightly raining for the whole week is not much fun in haying season.
Those BLM folks where are they?
Only 94 here today. It hit 103 yesterday. No big deal at all, but the news folks are going on like it's Armageddon.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Damn, good to catch relief.
Overcast here all morning. It was 61° outside @ 4:30 am then I got up. It's 67° here now, and the overcast is breaking, humidity @ 79%. Supposed to get to 75°-76° today.
Those of you up there ought to come down to Central Texas and feel what REAL heat and humidity is............we get it every year, not just a one off.
Daughter lives in Woodinville and only 3 out of 10 have AC
