Two days ago this little cutie showed up under our back porch. She will not let us get near, but will come within a few feet of us when we sit quietly outside. No idea where she came from and she seems too young to be on her own.
We have been putting out some kitty chow and water and she has accepted both. Not sure how this will all turn out. I am concerned the yotes or other yard critter will not tolerate her presence....
So for now we will make sure she has her basics covered and see if she warms up to us....She is darn cute and I am not much of a cat person...

we was adopted 6 years ago by this one. She prefers to stay outside but once in awhile she will do a short visit indoors
Trump Cat ... Kinda Creepy !
😆
..."We have been putting out some kitty chow and water and she has accepted both. "...you couldn't run her off if you wanted to! 😊
...Ive always been a dog person, but...several years ago I fed a beautiful Siamese cat...that was that! It wasnt too long that she had a batch of cats that looked just like her, other liters not so much😊...she ended up being named "mama"...man she HATED dogs! She would rather jump a dog OR dogs than purr...saw her whip 3 dogs at one time...sent them all running ...she jumped from one dogs head to another, looked like Bruce Lee 😊...found out years later that she was one of the most expensive breeds of Siamese, somebody missed her I'm sure, she was one heck of a kitty!...
Well we kind of know that.......we have had cats dumped on our place in the past and were able to pass them on to someone that wanted them....this little bugger can not be more than 4-5 weeks old...no one to watch over her, mid 90's this week so we had to do something. Not sure where this will all end up...
Tiger is one big pet. My wife uses a Dyson on him to get the hairs off as he loves it. Somebody dropped him as a kitten as he had already been neutered.
You are being tested, love that little kitty. I did not used to be a cat man either, but I must be getting soft in my old age.
Thanks for the comments and pics....
When we found this little fluffball my, and the vet's, best guess was four weeks old.
I'd found mamma kitty out in the street after she'd been hit by a car. Two days later Tam heard her out in the landlords junk shed. How she heard that tiny kitten over the howling wind puzzles me to this day. Just glad she did.
And this, is the pretty dainty princess she grew up to be.
Keep at it and you'll have yours lounging in you lap in no time.
we have his twin my oldest son brought him home at least eight to ten years ago , just a kitten when brought here he was found by the old train depot in town so named him hobo , great cat over all, he is like most cats independent , we are here when he needs us like feeding even petting on rare occasions and a warm place to sleep in the winter . speaking of he just came in and ate then wanted back out . his trade mark evening event
Ours has us trained and is spoiled beyond belief. He gets on this bench when I am sitting on it waiting for me to pet him. If I don't start petting him right away he wacks my arm with his paw telling me to get started.
I mentioned above our pet cat, former stray, Mrs. Grey. I talked about how she killed lots of rats and squirrels.
One day, now this was down in a suburban neighborhood in Atlanta, she was out on our back porch, back in the corner, taking a nap. Two of the neighbor's dogs wandered up, a German shepherd and a lab. They came marching up the steps, probably smelled cat food.
Mrs. Grey, 15 pounds, vs two dogs at 60 pounds each. She attacked. She ran up and clawed the first dog right across the nose and gave him 3 red stripes, the two mutts did a 180 and got out of Dodge and never came back!
You had to love Mrs. Grey, the Warrior Cat.
