I picked up six boxes full of parts and mags this morning and I need to know what this bipod fits. Thank you.
Comments
would that bipod be from the German WW2 light MG the Mg34?
It's a beer holder.
Sometimes we make things overly difficult.
with enough duct tape, anything you want it to fit.............thought you were a professional
That is an H&K heavy bipod for a G-3 or HK-91. I have one. That example is well used, but all are hard to find and expensive when you do.
Hey! No forum posting while driving! Eyes on the road buster, hands at 10 and 2.
I was going to say fishing rod holder.
I leave tomorrow morning. In the meantime, I still have time to ban someone before montanajoe takes over 😉
My goodness, look at the time. Nighty night all! 😳
Careful, if Montanajoe thinks it is a contest there may be no one left when you get back!😁 Bob
Contests are bad?? Crap. Here in Alaska EVERYTHING is a contest. Combat fishing, combat driving, combat ice cream eating...
Thank you Mark!! Be safe.
Sorry I let the thread get hijacked. To install that bipod you must have the slim HK forearm. The wide forearm which uses the front mounted bipod is not compatible. Understand that the bi pod folds foreword so that the feet are pointing towards the muzzle- the opposite of the lighter/standard bipod which hinges to the rear.
Remove the forearm and open the two hinged latches at what is the rear of the bipod mount. Put some oil into the interior of the mount and then slide it over the rounded potion of the receiver- it is sized to fit TIGHT! When it bottoms out you should be able to close the latches so that they snap into the slots in the receiver. If not, give the bipod mount a love-tap with a rubber hammer to seat it home. Once the latches are closed you can reinstall the forearm.
Mr Christian nailed it.
H&K G3
It fits next to the reciever like this Ricci
They run in the $800 range.
H&K made one for the 5.56 version too. It looks different, it doesn't have the collar with the 2 catches it just has one and the legs are different.
