An actual gun thread........Glock Day at the range....5 Glocks, 5 different calibers.....
It has been a crazy couple of months with some traveling, family responsibilities, and a three week demolition and remodel of the two main bathrooms in our house. Today I took a vacation from my retirement and hit the range. I tried to come up with something different and settled on grabbing five different Glocks, five different calibers.......
25 rounds per firearm, targets between 7 and 15 yards....some draw and fire from holster or pocket....single and double taps....one hand, off hand etc. 5 shots per mag and then a reload..Different gun every 10 rounds or so....
I can tell I have not been shooting as much as usual but I sure did have some fun.....Anyone else doing any shooting ???
First target was 25 rounds of .40 and .45...using a G23 and G30
2nd target was 25 rounds of .22, .380 and 9mm through a G44, G42 and G26

I shot s bit last Friday. At ten yards two-handed, these are the first 20 rounds I fired from my brand new Glock 44, followed immediately by 20 shots that I fired from a Glock 19 I haven’t shot once in over 4 years.
Man, do I love consistency!
Stay safe.
Was trying to figure out what to shoot next Friday at the range. It will be Glock.
Gun thread, ha ha.
Ammo is too expensive to shoot.
I guess that is true.....I take some comfort in the fact all the ammo used today was likely bought 2 plus years ago when the price was considerably lower......
I assume you must be a Glock hater......Not my favorite firearms and not even what I carry, but they go bang, no FTF or FTE and accurate enough to complete their intended purpose...Just another tool to know how to use......To each their own I guess...
Good times!
Good shooting.
I haven't been doing as much shooting as I usually do. The little shooting I have done is mostly 22's.
Had a friend and his son over to shoot Saturday. Have 2k of TulaAmmo 223 that is worthless. 3 AR15's ripped the rims off this ammo sticking the cases in their chambers requiring a cleaning rod to clear.
Also have another 2k of TulaAmmo 9mm that my Glocks don't like. Good news is my CZ Scorpion Pistol likes it.
My friend's son, Wyatt, loved my suppressed CZ Scorpion. With a little instruction on the sight picture, I had him nailing my 25yd gongs non-stop. Wyatt liked the gun so much so that he talked Dad into buying one.
Having the home field advantage, I had show both of them up by running my 25yd gongs with my Glock 26 (w/ brass cased ammo).
How do you like that G44, William? My wife has hinted that she'd maybe like one of those and I'm getting tired of sharing my Buckmark!
I really like it....accurate enough, no FTF or FTE after about 50 rounds to break it in...slightly ammo sensitive, functions great with CCI Mini Mags and Federal Match...Uses the same holster as my G19....
