its a test run for door to door gun confiscation.
those are the times you answer the door in your underwear and snot running down your cheek, and ask em if they need a hug............
With your "rabbit gun"
KMA and that Saki woman has aged 5 years in 6 months because of the lies she does day in and day out. She won't last another 3 months and Joey from Scranton might not either.
i keep a nice section of gav pipe by garage door for headlight removal
well I want Biden and the entire democratic party too lead by example spread out in the major cities and start door to door
see how that goes for them
Everyone who wants a vaccine has already gotten one. It is time we stop spending money on this and let people reap the benefits of their own free will.
These people have a fundamental misunderstanding of what it means to be American.

Actually if they would show up ... I will walk out with some sort of firearm and invite them out back to shoot. Now Saturday Night Live could make a great skit out of that..
Right Grasshopper. I promoted an over/under lotto for joe's tenure months ago but was informed (rightly) that any gambling on the form wasn't allowed. At the time, my thought for him was labor day and still feel that way. However, the fallout from that would be really ugly. Hang in there guys, it's going to be a rough ride.
Had a couple of people stop at the house asking about vaccinations. They were so scary I had to smile and thank them for coming by just to get them to leave. Feel lucky to be alive.
Couple people came by and asked me about vaccinations. I told them "last few times it was Hawaii, next one is the Maldives".
I offered to show them my tan lines but they left. Weird.

to each his own, gartman. Some will comply and some will politely turn them away. I will be in the latter camp. Fear has nothing to do with it, of course. Governments have boundaries, and this crosses one.

They’ll never get close enough to press my door bell.
If they actually set up the system of sending people door to door for vaccination/ vax awareness..........it should be a wake up call for all of us.
I have no trespassing signs on both sides of my driveway.
If they show up at my door, the conversation will NOT go well....for them.
Wow, drank the kool-aid didn't ya?
If everyone did a lot of different things, certain things would not happen.
If, for example, everyone gave up their firearms, there would be no more shootings.
If everyone stopped drinking, there would be no more deaths from cirrhosis of DUI wrecks.
If everyone stopped eating beef and driving automobiles, there would be less 'greenhouse' gas emissions.
All that said, the pandemic is over. As previously stated, anyone in the US who wants to be vaccinated has been vaccinated, and the number of vaccinated people who become severely ill or severely dead is statistically insignificant. The only people who are getting sick have made the choice to get sick. That is their right, and we all have the right of choice as to whether we should get vaccinated or not.
That is the result of my consideration of the subject. A pandemic is something that is by definition not controllable. This one is well controlled here in the US, ergo it is no longer a pandemic. Government has done its job by stimulating private industry to develop the means of control. This now minor disease will progress as people choose to let it progress.
As it should be.

Then stay home.
caterham so you not only drank the Kool aide, you are actually making it and what others to buy your toxic mix.... I'd hate to guess your stand on the 2nd amendment since you so freely give up the right to ones own choice over their own bodies and what the government can do to them...
I think caterham is going forum to forum......kinda like door to door! SMH.
To the folks with "No Soliciting" signs....Joe put out his playbook and told his people to simply IGNORE those signs. So that sign will work about as good as the do not call list! I agree tho, ask em to leave, then TELL them to leave if they do not leave ASAP.
Joe and his gang came by our house last night and I thought it was thieves breaking in so I took my shotgun out on the back porch and fired a couple shots up in the air and they ran away.
caterham and his lefty friends are too scared to go door to door (or anywhwere) in Southside Chitcago. They wouldn't last a minute there.........rural law abiding Americans are the real problem after all.
If one chooses to the believe the above, as of 6 July, there were 733 cases of Covid death among Americans who have been vaccinated and 3,554 Covid hospitalizations.
In a country of 350 million people, I do not see how the non-vaccinated are putting the vaccinated at any significant risk.
Time to live and let live, my friend. If you are afraid to go to a restaurant after being vaccinated, it is on you. Not on society.

No need for a vaccine for me. I had the rona. It wasn't even as bad as some flus I've had-- barely worse than some colds I've had and not even as bad as others. I know others have had a worse result (mostly because of age or complicating factors) but listening to the SCIENCE led me down the path I chose and the outcome I had. And even if I were in a higher risk group I don't think I would have done things differently. That's just the mentality I have... I'm not afraid even of death.
But tell me this. Why the F is the "party of science" ignoring the science to push some experimental treatment on folks claiming it's the saviour of the world? If you do your homework you will see a lot of the stories from folks with very BAD reactions to the experimental treatment (strokes, blood clots, and loss of function are the common thread) and that in folks who, like me, would suffer few if any ill effects from a SARS virus. Yet these same science worshippers ignore their god and push their agenda on folks that have little to no risk otherwise. Hmmmm
The answer is pretty clear if you stop and think about it. Notice how bullying and coersion is now being used? It's all about power and control. Well, they ain't gonna control me, and if it comes to a fight, they will be hard pressed to win that one. And so this door to door campaign... well, they're not going to have a fun encounter at my home.

I am a firm believer in a person having the right to choose. Because I am in a high risk group I chose to be vaccinated. If it should come to pass that some poorly paid drone comes to my door inquiring about vaccinations I will politely decline to answer any questions. I will not take out my displeasure brought on by the invasion of privacy out on the person at the door because they are only doing what the employer is telling them to do. They aren't the enemy, Washington is the problem. Kind of like the census takers - answer what is necessary and ignore all the other questions. Privacy to me is paramount. Bob
So far as I am aware, people still have a choice in who they choose to work for as well. Choosing that job says volumes about them, IMO.

There are plenty of jobs out there that I would never do and this is one of them. However I don't disparage those that are actually out there doing something instead of sitting at home sucking on the government teat. If someone has the courage to voice their convictions about the vaccine, more power to them. If others choose to ignore their message in a peaceful manner, more power to them as well. If they do visit my door, it will be one of those momentary irritations that will quickly pass. Kind of like the Jehovahs Witnesses that show up once a year and get told no thank you just before I close the door. Bob
I can't speak for gp, but since his statement shares my sentiments on it. Um, no. Stay home since you're living in fear and let the adults do their thing. If you, as a vaccinated individual are so fearful of catching the disease from the unvaccinated, why would you have bothered to get it? And if fear of getting the disease isn't the motivation for your comments here, what is your concern? If you are truly that afraid, even after getting the vax... stay home, bunker down, and swill in your fear. The rest of us are doing just fine, truly.

I generally don't condone anyone participating in illicit trades, of which this is surely one.

Well, while most everyone else was huddled safely at home during some/all of 2020, I was working my normal shift every day. The REALLY sad part is that my job is ~98% able to be done remotely yet I still had to come in. The company I work for has 3 US locations, and 3 in India. Our India offices have been closed for ~17 months now with no sign they will return any time soon. The other 2 US locations, they have been closed since March 2020 except somebody would come in to the office here or there for the mail, restart a server, etc.
But, our office has remained business as usual. We even had a MANDATORY Christmas party. We had to be in the office, while every other location again, was working from home. Well, exactly half of our office caught COVID; mine was a few days behind everyone else. Being the nice sharing person that I am, I gave it to my wife (she has worked from home since well before COVID). As my lousy luck would have it, I had vacation already scheduled. Was I allowed to get vacation time back and instead take sick time? Nope. I hadn't missed a day in 3 years. Their response. Well, you've had it now you can't get it again soon.
Work has been asking odd questions about the vaccine (who's gotten it, who hasn't, etc.) I fully expect it will become a mandatory thing at some point. I have done my research and found that legally they can require it. If that happens, I'll pitch a fit. They say they want us to all be safe. Where has all that concern been during the past 18 months where I've carried more than my share and they were silent.
My wife has gotten it as early as she could and she is glad. I am not closed minded about it, but I haven't found anything that compels me to want to do it either.
I've always been told that it is a change in the environment that a virus is comfortable with that causes a mutation.
The virus that survive the attack and environmental change brought on by the vaccine are the mutation. A halfarsed
attempt at a immunity with a rushed vaccine is more than likely the cause of the mutations, not the unvaccinated.
Everyone should be responsible for themselves. If you being responsible for yourself means you stay home, so be it.
Had we adopted this very logical approach in March of last year; with at risk people and their families protecting themselves rather the half-baked approach recommended by Fauci where all people were considered the same risk, prompting interaction between those at risk and those not at risk, we would have achieved a measure of natural herd immunity a year ago, and the vaccine would have released those truly at risk into the community.

Are they going to bring the FREE beer and lottery tickets.
If so, No, I have not had my shots yet. Just leave the beer and give me my lottery tickets and I promise I'll go get vaccinated as soon as I sober up and can drive.
I would be suspect of the beer if it does not have any labels.
You watch. Some knuckle head will try this ruse to stake out someone's home to break in and rob them. Great googley moogley.(sp)
