I had a cavity filled yesterday and my Dentist and I talked for a bit. He said he went up to Camp Perry and did some pistol shooting. He said it was a lot of fun.
I had no idea he was a gun guy. He replaced my last dentist who retired several years ago. I didn't know he was a gun connoisseur until I saw him at a gun show. Small world.

I didn't either..........
Makes 3 of us.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
how about four? we can play a round of golf.
No thanks, I played a round of golf once and I suck. 😀

Having all your medical people retire on you is a beach, isn't it? Lost my eye doctor last year, my dentist just about now, and my family doctor at the end of the year. Been with all of them for 30+ years. Not sure how I'm going to feel breaking in new people who know nothing about me, my medical history, and have no rapport with me at all. The worst part? Knowing that my wife taught our new dentist - in grade school.
Amen!!!

I cant find an honest dentist. All of them in this area are in the same category as the ambulance chasing lawyers that advertise on TV.
Funny how the Anti's are trying to make guns a public health issue. My previous vet, a great guy was a horse doctor in Virginia and stepped down to small animals in NY. He was a Master 3 position small bore shooter and on rifle team at Cornell. We shot together in winter league at West Point. Surprising how many in medical profession are gunners.----Ray
Lost my family doctor to retirement nearly 20 years ago. He was an ex Marine and never beat around the bush when it came to health issues. We became hunting and fishing buddies.
I have not found a replacement doctor ever since and have sadly depended on yearly VA checkups and those cattle bins we call Walk In Clinics.
Dentists! I avoid them like the plague! Most I have ever known were sado-masicists how ever you spell it!
When I have to get a new Doc, I always may sure they are significantly younger than me. I hate breaking in a new medic.

there comes a point when they all are..............
Heck! My kids are older than most doctors!
my new dentist I found out is the daughter of a fellow I worked with for many years now were both retired . time fly's by let no one kid you
a doc I had many years ago ( kicked off with a heart attack) before he died I ran into him at several gun shows what was a bit odd about it in the office he did not like to talk about it like it was a sin or embarrassed him to go to a gun show .
my current family doc I have never ask about guns but I know he likes cars ( he has a 427 cobra replica done up right )and Harleys his dad and brother go on trips together even Sturges , I tease him about that one
