The Model 66 was sort of the exception to the RG= Rotten Gun thingy, It is not a Colt Peacemaker, but not bad either.
My father's younger brother used to collect RGs....I think he did it just to annoy my dad.
Sorry, I laughed out loud! Have you no shame?😂 Bob
I had a RG in .32 long with a six inch barrel, I don't remember the model number but it was a double action revolver. The gun was cheap with plastic grips but it shot fairly well.
Thanks but I will stick with my boltless CZ.
My first handgun was a 66. Purchased in 1972 for $36.00 If my mother knew what a straw purchase was she would not have signed for it.
Is the ejector rod missing?
I somehow came by one of those in .22 short about 40 years ago. I hung it on the wire at the 25 yard target holder and shot it with a single round of .230 gr ball out of a Gold Cup. It came apart pretty good and was worth just as much after I shot it as it was before. What ever the going rate for pot metal was.
I don't know much about these. Is the shipping and transfer fee gonna be twice what the "pistol" is worth??
I have one like it (RG 10 ) but mine has a chrome frame I guess the deluxe model LOL. my grandfather ( moms side ) gave to me when i was about 12 maybe 13 so I would take it with us on vacation when I was a kid , mom dad knew I had it but trusted me enough to know I was not going to do something stupid .
I still have it just because of who gave it to me I think we did shoot it once when I first got it .. minute of barn door comes to mind LOL
My dear William...
You can't tell us you have a Rohm and then in the same sentence tell us 'no laughing out loud'! That just doesn't work!
If you are talking about the 66, it is there…
Thanks for all the chuckles so far 🤪
I just snickered understand my breath.
The Rohm RG 10
The RG10 does not have an ejector rod…drop the gate and pick them out.
Check the advance search on past auctions. You maybe surprised, I was…….
RG10’s selling for 60 to 120+ depending on year made Etc….the RG66 in the 100 to 200 range and the
Bryco, well that’s all over the place but mainly in the 60 to 100 range. The extra mag is 20 bucks..
They all work….as I said great toolbox or tackle box guns
Both RG’s are C&R eligible.
when I received the one I have I truly though it ( ejector rod ) had been lost as there is a threaded hole for one to screw into ? that runs thru the frame and cylinder . but since it only been shot a few times it was not a big deal
I have thought about the gun buy backs many times when they offered 100.00 or more but because my grandpa gave it to me and the only thing I have of his i will just keep it
I have one with a screw in rod that Ditch Runner discusses. You turn it out and use it to push out the emptys?
Interesting, I have had this one for over 25 years and never knew it had that, but did always wonder why it was threaded...
Ends Sunday.....
