Night vision or IR scope suggestions?

What would be yalls suggestion for a night vision or IR scope? I do NOT have unlimited $ but also want to avoid useless junk! One purpose would be hog or predator hunting. Main reason would be to have just in castle the SHTF. Would like to be able to hunt for food in the dark without attracting attention, of course until a shot is fired😁. Just one of those, LIKE to have items. LOTS of options to choose from, looking for 1st or 2nd hand accounts.
Thanks
Mike

I have not had much luck with ATN products I'm now searching for something different now leaning towards thermal imaging. Almost all night vision will require a IR light if you want any distance. Right now the Bearing Optics Hogster 35mm is the one I'm looking at they have a 4 year warranty and seems like their customer service is ok. Pulsar is also another good name that has popped up in my search
Thanks, yea I saw where ATN was having issues, thru y'all's posts. Id like to have thermal. Trying to find something affordable that works. Hopefully less than 2k
I think I would look at a thermal scope and IR Goggles.
For no frills quality thermal check out the FLIR RS32. For under 2k the Armasight Predator is a good scope for the money.
For goggles its hard to beat a PVS-14
The sight mark wraith is a decent unit at around 500.00 but heavy I have one of them also it is a digital NV and it does pretty good especially if you up grade the IR light other downfall is it is hard on batteries.
Go thermal and don’t look back. Decent stuff you can actually use starts around 3k and goes up from there.
Buy once , cry once. I prefer Pulsar. Decent quality and won’t break the bank.
Flir rs32 and flir rs64 show discontinued. I will check out the others. Thanks for the input

I hear the tally bon just got a large shipment of that stuff. You might get a deal.😲
Yea, well....me and the tally whackers are not on speaking terms.
Our fearless leaders handed thousands of night vision/IR equipment to terrorist. Shucks we can't even send one out of the country.
Pass on ATN
I have zero personal knowledge on this topic but a friend who is knowledgable told me the thermal imaging is better than the night vision.
Just got a Sightmark Wraith 4-32X IR scope from Fox Optics for $500. They threw in several extras at no charge. It is on the heavy side, but with a decent shooting stick, will be manageable. I'm just getting it up and running and getting acquainted with the controls. Has lots of reticle shapes and colors to choose from and gray or green NV, video and pictures on a micro SD card. Daytime mode is full color and very clear.
Not the best available, but all I could justify spending.
My next will be thermal . Tried 2 ATN night vision. 1st was a cheapy couldn't see 50 yds. Next was their great one. You could see stringy objects at 100 yd. Was a joke. I could take a mag light and do better.
Anyone have "Tali" connections so I can get the good stuff cheap?
seems the sighmark wraith is becoming the frontrunner, well at least on a budget. Thanks for all, well most, of the inputs! 😁
When it comes to thermal the starting point is around $2000, more usable stuff is $3000-4000 and up. Spend less than that and you are absolutely wasting your money unless your goal is to shoot large warm objects 20 yards away.
Don't bother with "night vision".
Spot on Sav and SF
Everyone I know who has went ATN regretted it and I am in the middle of hog country.
