my guess just another prop gun maybe loosely using a current design pistol as a base like the star wars or countless other movie guns

This is from a 1966 episode of "The Man From U.N.C.L.E. - The Concrete Overcoat Affair part II" (took a little digging). And yes, the gun is probably a prop.
yeah looks like it might shoot a little high with that scope angle...........
My first thought was Crosman or Daisey.
I think I got my shots with that when I took my physical for the Air Force back in 68...
