I am in awe of the woman at the Post Office

Having had sparing good experiences in any post office over my entire lifetime, today I am in awe.
I went in to get a passport today. Suffice it to say that there was a hurdle with my paperwork and I expected to be shown the door. Instead, the very nice, patient, and friendly!!... folks... she smiled almost the entire time!!.... woman that helped me did everything she could to be accommodating, helpful, and make the experience pleasant. This amidst a line of customers that backed up to the door at one point.
That woman made my day.
For the first time ever, I am going to fill out that survey they always tell you about and rave about her. She deserves it.
My passport is on its way!
Some will die in hot pursuit
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain

Wellll....it could be she wants you to leave the country! 😁
Seriously, it sounds like you got a good one to help you out. My wife was a rural carrier for 37 years and I have seen mostly good employees at her old office. Unfortunately the rare bad service I got is more memorable than the good service I got 90% of the time. The good employees had no use for the few bad ones but because of that stupid idea of a government employee union nothing could or can be done in most cases. Bob
Our little Post Office does a great job. Nice to hear of a good experience.
Same here...But if you need a pic for the passport ...you have to make an appointment...

Our post office quit doing passports a very long time ago. I saw the clerk more than once "helping" people through the process. She could have been a witch character in the Wizard of Oz (and not the good witch).
Based on what is involved, that is understandable, and also what I expected. Thus my complete surprise and joy.
