Yep, we had 35° yesterday morning. Supposed to get 1"-3" of rain today.
That's getting down to where the Dem's might start keeping their hands in their own pockets.......
It will be a high of about 91 today...
Dreamer!
Come on Mother Nature, let me have a couple of months of decent fall weather before you bring on winter! It seems like the last few years we skip both spring and fall and it is either to hot or to cold. Maybe I am just getting older and having a Goldilocks moment! 😊 Bob
I just came in from mowing, temperature was 87 in the cab, and the A/C couldn't keep up. I'm going back out after supper and finish up. BTW the temperature is 94 out right now, with no breeze.

It only got down to 34 here. Still pretty warm.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Early next week is supposed to be in the 80's here. We used to call that "Indian Summer". Probably can't say that anymore. Maybe "Native American Summer"? No....Or "Indigenous People Summer"? Again - nope. Oh well. It's going to be warm.
According to my 'spider sense', there may be a cold snap in the MidWest around the first week of October. My frost predictors are the cockleburs(porcupine eggs) and I'll be watching those closely for the next few days before making a solid prediction.
The average frost date in my area is Oct 16 and a frost 10-14 days ahead of that will be disastrous to late planted and still growing crops.
Not cold at all in SC
Does it ever get truly 'cold' in SC? Like below 0 cold?
45 here this morning with rain supposedly coming this afternoon. Cool and wet makes the pastures grow!! Yay!
Been here 30 yrs from Indiana. Coldest ever was 16 degree for one night. Most times it might get mid 20's for a few days a yr .
Ah, you're getting the rain we got yesterday. I haven't yet set up my rain gauge (Home Depot bucket) this fall, but I estimate we got 1-1/2 inches.
92 here today.....suppose to cool off early next week ....Hopefully it will finally let me get out and bow hunt !!
You must've gotten all of it, HPD, it's cloudy but we haven't had a drop of rain yet today. Had a bunch of smoke roll in from somewhere overnight, hopefully it'll rain this afternoon and clear it out.
