What is your daily driver? Vehicles that you own for every day transportation. Not the tractor trailer you drive for a living or the investment covered in the garage but drive to work, grocery getter type.Mine is an old Nissan pick up.

Well, I don't drive anything daily, but for the two to four times a week that I do drive, it's my 2008 Toyota Highlander. Our only other vehicle is my wife's 2020 Highlander Hybrid - that's also our road trip car for its mileage and digital doodads.
My other driver is a Taylormade M3
Closest to a daily driver would be Judy's Equinox because she does so much volunteering that she is on the road a lot more than me. My normal ride is an almost 3 year old Acadia that only has 12,000 miles on it. That only works out to about 80 miles a week proving I stay home a lot. Obviously the increased gas price hasn't got me too upset.😀 Bob
2017 Honda Ridgeline
04 ram 1500
06 F-150 or the 95 F-250...
Mostly my Ford pick-up but I also have an old Mercedes sedan. I need to work on the A/C in the sedan or I would use it for most of my running around and will when the weather cools off. Saves miles on the pick-up
1963 Land Rover Series 2A

Ford Explorer and f350 dually for me and a Honda Ridgeline for the wife
2010 Nissan Frontier 4WD. Got to have 4WD where I live. 65,000 miles, I love this truck! Bought it 2 years ago.
Loan me some fuel mileage from the Nissan
My 2015 F 150 4x4. Just under 20K miles, and I get 21.5 MPG. It has the little V-6 with twin turbos. Bought it new the day before Christmas in 2015.
My wife has a 2013 Buick encore she bought new. I don't know how many miles she has on it, and I'm too tired to go look. 🤨

Nanuq907 , What engine is in your Land Rover? Back in the 70s there was an old Land Rover for sale locally. It was in pretty good condition but it had a 4 cylinder Rolls Royce engine.I passed on buying it because I assumed I could never find parts for it and if I did I probably couldn't afford them.
2018 Toyota Tundra.
It beats a minivan.😀
2019 Nissan Frontier 4 door 4 wd. And it's encouraging that the others who have posted like them so well.
That appears to be a nightly driver! Don
2015 Nissan Rouge and 2013 Honda Ridgeline.
Mine is the 2.25 liter “petrol” engine. But it’s a Land Rover lump, not a Rolls.
There’s a simple solution when your clear coat starts to fail.
my wife has a 2010 honda element as weekend driver we bought new ( I think it has 110,00 miles and she has a 2002 honda accord with about 120k miles she drive's to work or local trips ( she is retiring next spring )
I have a 97 4x4 110k miles and 94 GMC 2wd about 150k miles both pickup's as my daily drivers ( retired 7 yrs ago )
I doubt if I drive more than a couple times a month into town a whole 12 miles away other than the local PO a couple miles away once or twice a week
thinking on it actually my wife and I do not go much of any where . I guess making up for always going some where when younger .
F-150 2016......about 40,000 miles on it. I should have paid more attention about the size of the wheels. When the time comes, I imagine tires for the 20 inch wheels won't be cheap..
2015 F150 4x4....I live on a gravel road so this is about as clean as it ever gets....
Wife drove my 2017 Trax once, she didn't like it, too small.
She prefers her 96 Bronco, with over 250,000 miles on it.
Of course neither are "daily" drivers.
Being retired, she goes shopping 2-3 times a month.
I am not figuring my mileage by MPG, but by "MPT" - how many (months per tankfull)
At least 2, sometimes 3.
05 Cheby cavalier. 40 miles round trip to work and back every stinkin' day. Sometimes twice on the same calendar day. Get about 32 mpg and most everything on it doesn't work real good. The only gauge that still works is the gas gauge. I just blend into traffic, that's my speedo. Recently put $260 into new shoes for it, so it's good for another 60k or so. I see I can get a new gauge cluster for about $130 and maybe a 2 hr job to replace it. Time to have the tranny serviced and at 140k it probably needs a new timing belt. Not sure it's worth it, but I just can't give up on the old girl.
My work pickup is an 04 Chevy 1/2 ton. Primary farm pickup is a 98 Chevy K3500. Backup for either use is 2001 Chevy K2500.
AND NONE OF THEM HAS BEEN WASHED LATELY. Shiny, freshly waxed vehicles aren't a part of life here.
My Nissan Frontier 4WD gets 21.5 mpg. Six cylinder 3.5 liter.
We had to go pick up boulders and gravel at the quarry last week, we got the truck loaded up, pulled up to the scale to pay. Oops! The gal said we had 2,100 pounds. That is a bit much for a 1/2 ton truck. I was afraid I was going to blow tires or springs but, no, drove it 7 miles to my place and unloaded it by hand, no problem no damage to the truck.
07 Tacoma TRD Off Road. 200k and still going strong...knock on wood.
2011 Jeep Sahara, '04 F-250 6.0 Diesel, '08 HD Street Glide
Wife and I both drive 2013 Landrover LR4s. Last year of the naturally aspirated V-8. Probably our last cars.

My main mode of transportation is an '08 KIA Sportage V6 4X4 with dual exhausts. It currently has 111,000 miles on it and is pet friendly as my 2 K-9's go just about everywhere I do. With the windows down, folks following me most likely see the fur flying from good ole Corky the Golden Retriever who sheds hair by the clumps!
I also have an "07 Ford Ranger Sport 4x4 pickup 4 liter V-6 with 85,000 miles that I use on rare occasions.
My daily is a 2011 Nissan Frontier 4x4. For you guys who own 2005-2009 and SOME 2010’s and have the V6 and auto transmission make sure you do the transmission cooler bypass or you risk what’s called SMOD. Strawberry Milkshake Of Death. The transmission fluid mixes with the coolant and destroys the transmission. It’s an easy fix and there was a recall and known issue with these. Other than that they are reliable. The wife drives a 2017 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4x4.
The SMOD. Good God I never heard of that one. I do have a 2010 Frontier. I just did a little research and it looks like this problem was solved by 2010.
I bought mine 3 years ago and it now has 65K miles, no problems so hopefully I have dodged this bullet.
I find myself still using my 2006 Nissan Frontier for running to the post office. Anything longer distance, we take my 4Runner or Rav4.
'04 GMC 2500HD extended cab 4x4. 240,000+ miles on it and it just keeps chuggin' along. Next year when I start collecting my SS we're thinking about getting a new 4 door pickemup for hauling the camper and boat around. Gonna hang onto the '04 as a farm truck.
2021 tundra. around 15 mpg city. best truck I ever had.
