select-fire

Had a 1970 Boss 302 yrs ago and wishing I had never sold it. Looking at the newer 2013 Boss Mustangs.. they made them for 2 yrs 2012 and 2013. Either a nice collector condition 2013 Boss Mustang or a 2009/2010 Shelby Mustang or go hog wild and buy a KR King Road Shelby? Which one?

Dunno, but must be NICE to have such a hard decision! 😎
Neither one. Wrong make🙃
Just go hog wild and get the King Shelby.
I feel bad about the choices you have to make LOL
I have a buddy had a true boss 302 mustang for several years then sold it then later on bought a new( then ) cobra mustang may have been a KR ? it was the top of the line on options and HP I think was 50K + window sticker its been too long since I seen him or the car . I know it was bright red with white stipes and he loved it said it was amazing car
him and his wife had great jobs and no kids so they bought what every they wanted for the most part
I would go with the KR mustang but a all out top of the line dodge demon would edge it out if I had the funds
I wouldn’t do the contemporary Boss. Any honyok with a checkbook can have one. You want something hard to get, rare atmosphere kinda car that will turn heads... the right heads.
McQueen’s Bullitt Muskrat ought to do it. Subtle, carries a punch.
The one that pins you to the seat the hardest and the longest.
😁 Ya i sure miss that girlfriend of many years ago . I could not keep up now
With this I concur. Well said.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
I made the above selections in which I am interested in. No older Mustangs going in the collection.
It's the same in the weird world of watch collecting. There's ostentatious then there's subtle, and they rarely intersect. Example: a simple Rolex Submariner 5513 dating to 1972-ish can be had for $15,000.
Take that 5513, add a Helium Escape Valve at the 9:00 side, and the price goes nuts. Even though they look the same:
Here's your "pre-COMEX" Submariner, valued at $78,000. All because of the subtle detail difference.
One person out of ten thousand might notice the difference. But which would I rather own?
My Dads Hamilton 23 Jewel Rail Road Special Pocket Watch
A Hamilton 950 in 23 jewel is spectacularly gorgeous. You should be proud of that one!
I had a 67 and can assure you at my age I couldn't even begin to keep up with what went on in it.
Serial number on that is around 1941-42 . Mine is very close
...My vote... 2009/2010 Shelby Mustang ...
My 1st car was a 68 Mustang ; it was royal maroon with black bucket seats. Loved that car!
I think the Shelby would have better handling than the Boss, and faster off the line.
