Disputed charges
Any sellers have a customer dispute credit card charges based on non delivery? USPS priority tracking states the package delivered. I tried emailing the customer with no response and calling them only to be hung up on. I disputed their dispute with my credit card processor and provided the shipping and listing documents requested. Waiting to hear back from my card processor.
This was a Gunbroker listing, but has nothing really to do with Gunbroker at this point, I'm not trying to seek Gunbroker customer support on the discussion forum, nor am I complaining in any way about Gunbroker. The way I see it Gunbroker has nothing to do with the issue at this point, it is a banking issue so please don't delete this post, I'm only seeking advice from other sellers about a banking issue.
Just reaching out to see if anyone has had any experience with something like this. Thanks!

Sounds like one of three things. 1) USPS has an issue with the driver, delivering to the wrong address, stealing the package or something. 2) Someone stole the package from the buyers porch or out of the box. 3) Buyer got the package and is trying to steal money from you.
Buyer refusing to discuss the matter with you is suspicious for #3.
I know that's not the help you asked for but I do wish you luck in resolving the issue.
Good Luck
Happens about 2-3 times a year and sends me into a state of pissedoffness every time. Several were blatantly obvious trying to steal the item. Some were just a mistake and "forgot" they bought a gun.
CC companies will reverse the charges with a little leg work, it just makes me mad that someone has to go through the work to fix it.
Tracking will mute his chances, at least it did mine, plus the fact he hangs up, wth, IF it was me I would at least have a gentleman's chat.
On another one, he asked the postman about the package I sent, yes, postperson says it was delivered, he says it's at a drug house by now, not a firearm but an expensive item, but he had lousy, thieving neighbors.
This is taking way to long; what's ya doing um Dollar Cost Averaging to make a long story short shortness of sight lets see it! 6yrs simple interest?

Was it worse than it is now? I've always thought I had a pretty good grip on the English language, maybe I missed a class or something.
Civil Rights!
If you think you have any "civil rights" on a private internet forum, I have a very nice bridge in Brooklyn for sale at a very reasonable price.

This is another reason I like Blue Dog as my gateway. They don't take the funds out of my account unless it has been investigated and they rule it is a true refund situation.....which has not happened yet. My last processor would withdraw the funds the moment someone would dispute a charge....then I'd have to "prove" my side and they would eventually rule in my favor and deposit the funds back. I didn't know how much better I could have things until I started looking around.
Oh hey owles, I didn't realize you were still here. You are free to go now.

While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche

You realize he's a bot, right?
I mean, what else could it be?
Acid rain?
I thought the new software booted the bots.
Who knows...
Nearly every week I receive a small package from USPS that is insured and supposed to be signed for. Since COVID started, USPS no longer contacts anybody to get a signature. They just leave the package and the driver indicates on the form that I was contacted, but I never am.
FedEx isn't any better. Once every 4 weeks I get a Humira prescription delivery. Pre pandemic they wouldn't leave it without a signature and now they don't even ring the doorbell and just leave it by the door. It only costs a little north of $11,000 and needs to be refrigerated. So far it has arrived as early as 9:30 am and as late as 5 pm so on delivery day I can't plan anything away from the house for fear of weather conditions or somebody ripping it off. Bob
Nope. Not a bot. He is our GBGD Mascot. 🙂
The credit card gods smiled upon me and ruled my way! Surprised they handled it so quickly. Apparently it was a pattern of this particular buyer.
Is anyone willing to host a virtual intervention for member owles? It's clear they are pretty far down a dark, lonely road. We are after all, our brother's keeper.
elkdroppings, I have to disagree with you on that one, I use owles as a measure, If I ever get to fully understanding his posts, I will know I have full blown demensia............. till then I am safe
I already have an idiot brother, I don't have the patience or the time for another one.
