Two Problems, Any ideas?
Running Win 10 with Lenovo Desk Top
Way back when they did the conversion and lost quite a few members. When I click on GB forums and try to go to GD, Politics etc. I get bounced back to GB forums unless I wait approx 30 seconds or more. Almost like software is slow to load. Once I get in everything is ok, but if I bail out of the Forum and come back in, same problem.
2nd problem on Auction side started about a week ago. If I display items by LIST I get a long gray vertical column beneath each picture (same width as picture). I can get rid of it by hitting refresh (reload). Eventually it creeps back in. It is a real PIA because I like the LIST as opposed to GRID. I find the LIST less busy than the GRID and I can scroll very fast with the LIST. I guess my old brain just likes the LIST better and less confusing than the GRID.
Any ideas guys and gals. Thank you.---------------------------Ray

Probably your browser has gone stupid, too much stuff in the cache, etc. I use the Iron browser, it's an open source derivative of Google's Chrome, with all the spying crap taken out. It's free.
See if you can clear your browser cache (somewhere in settings) then when you open GB again do a <shift>-F5 to force a re-read of the website from the server. That overrides the cache and should draw it all correctly.
I have 2 Lenovo confusers, a laptop, and a desktop. they are the most problematic confusers I ever bought. Your sanity will return if you get a Dell or other quality confuser.

3)No
Problem on Auction Side very recent. Did not have a chance to try Nanuq907 suggestion. I have Foxfire and will try that to see if trouble free.------------------------Ray
Interesting, Ok, I am in Foxfire now. Both problems went away. In Foxfire I am asked to sign in to Forum and also Auction Side by GB. Seems to be faster.
In Google Chrome I am already signed into GB.
So, GB does not like Google Chrome or Google Chrome does not like GB?
Will explore Nanuq907's suggestion.-----------------------------Ray
But, but, but almost 5yrs no problems.-----------------------Ray
I would just stick with Firefox. I have zero issues and never ever have had one.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
You don't have a problem, just an opportunity.
Firefox and don't look back.
Something goofy going on with your puter.
For some reason I have to long in but not very often. Less than once a month.
Tried clearing out cache, data, cookies in chrome. Problem still there.
Firefox it is !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to all you Geeks--------------------------------Ray
If you go back to beginning of Topic I still have problem #1 with Chrome but not Foxfire. Problem #2 crept into Foxfire also. For over a week now Have not had Problem #2 in either Chrome or Foxfire. Go figure.---------------------Ray
