It's left outside but driven every day. As I understand it the wire coverings have a soy bean base in them and this what's attracts them. Just read an article where Ford will be using coffee chaff and the unusable skin of roasted beans in the mfg. of their headlamp housings! Wonder just what that might attract🙄

Yep, chewed the insulation off my bookkeepers subie, harness was on top of the trans, perfect snack bar.
Home wire has same content, fellow wired a basement and then closed the house for winter, opened up in spring and all that as left was bare wires

I use the battery powered rat repeller to run the little varmints out of my cars. Works well. Stick one in the engine. I'd like to get my hands on the genius who decided to use vegetable oil in the insulation on wiring for cars. What a genius.

Yes! As long as you don't wash that wire insulation down with anti-freeze! 😁
I seem to have good results using this product.
I won't be drinking antifreeze...................I will recycle my own water and drink my pee. Bet my pee would taste a lot better too. [green sarcasm font on]
