My youngest son called about a 40 minutes ago (11:00 pm ) our time the small town I grew up in and a few blocks from where I grew up a local LEO was just shot no word on how he / she is doing really not much other then they pulled all stops to find the shooter a helicopter went by our house ( about 12 miles from town ) a short time ago to help ( state boys ) as best I can remember ( in my life any way no LEO was ever shot in the small town it happened ( possible just I have never heard of any ) my son said they were calling code 99 every LEO was on the way

I google earthed Sidney & it looks like a nice town deep in the middle of farm country. You never know. Prayers for the officer.
Yep just a small town as a youg fellow all the local cops knew me too well I was not a fan but never wanted any of them hurt
Its Sad violence and no respect for life knows no bounds any more small towns are becoming just as dangerous odds are still for the small towns but knives know
I carry my cc now more than ever
Prayers for the officer, that the officer is still alive and will make a complete recovery. I also pray for all of us that this isn't an example of far, far worse things to come as our society circles the toilet bowl.

The Leo was shot in the leg just what he heard not confirmed
They know the man who did it and were trying to serve a felony warrant he took off running and starting shooting at the two LEO hit one
