I'm nuts

Got the MRI results yesterday from my shoulder. I have a torn rotator cuff. I see the ortho doc on November 3rd. Nothing available any sooner.
Dr. Google says there are two options, continued physical therapy to build up muscle strength around the socket or surgery.
Being a hobby farmer I haven't suspended any activity to include lifting/carrying 50 lb bags of feed. Not sure how much I'm supposed to be able to lift as far as strengthening the muscle, but I'm working it.
Nuts part is that Brother called and asked what I was doing tomorrow. I had nothing planned. Now it seems I do have plans. Going gigging tomorrow night. He said if the river is muddy just bring my swimsuit since it's unseasonably warm. 😆

varian maybe her brother wants to borrow it?
"I'm nuts"
Well now that we have established that we can call off the intervention....😜
Take it easy on the shoulder.....it is aggravating getting things done without hurting yourself further...
I've had the surgery once, and a buddy had it twice. He says he thanks God he has only 2 shoulders he can hurt. My Dr. said a tear will never get any better without the surgery, but maybe he just needs the business. Count on needing some help with personal hygiene, particularly your hair for a couple weeks, and you will need a chauffeur until the Dr. releases you to drive. I don't know about MO, but in TN, the PO-PO will give you grief if they catch you driving too soon. I had mine 6 or 8 years ago, and I don't think that side will ever be quite as strong as it once was. YMMV
Well dang Susie, you just now got your leg fixed up and you're on to something else. Take care yourself, heal up. Prayer.
Well, ripped up shoulders are no good for sure. Hoping you can get some relief soon. What's gigging?
I've done shoulder PT twice, many years apart, with some relief. Was never told I needed surgery. The second series of PT they also did ultrasound treatments. I've also had ultrasound treatments on hamstring at the heel. I think the treatments were the best healer.
A pronged spear used to stab fish or frogs.

10 to 12 foot pole, 1.5 inch in diameter with a cast iron four prong barbed fork on one end, cordage attached at the other end for retrieval, used to spear fish while going up or down stream in fresh water.
Tomorrow is supposed to be in the high 80's. Typically one would not want to take a dip in the river at this time of the year, but with temps this high if the river is too murky to gig for fish we might just go for a swim.
