Did you know me when I was young?😊
Extreme hate is the driving force today, my 2 cents. Back in the day we would punchout each others lights then make up and be friends.
I have no answers but it is tragic for sure. I do know banning things won't change it.
What has changed? That's easy. It's TV, video games, movies, etc. They all glorify killing with a gun. Want to improve things? Place a gigantic tax on every entertainment medium that depicts killing with a gun.
If obama had a son
"20 miles from Downtown Dallas" is extremely vague to those of us familiar with the area.
Arlington is between Dallas and Ft. Worth
Here we go again, activists disguised as journalists using the event to promote the anti 2A agenda of the DEMOCRAT party:
Stirring emotions, spreading hate, lies, blaming Trump, GOP, and any opposition.
When the real facts emerge which are always contrary, its not reported.
This trend repeats itself every time there is a shooting.
He is out on a 75K bail and partying at home like nothing happened.
The fight before the shooting.
The victim's family was extolling his virtue, saying he was mild mannered, never a fighter. Police showed victim's family videos and they are singing a different tune. They are saying they are shocked and have never seen him like this.
I will say times have changed in schools. Get punched, slapped, kicked, etc. and attempt to defend yourself and you will be suspended along with the person who initiated the fight. Don't want suspended, you have to curl up in a ball and take the beating. No one steps in to stop it because once involved that person gets suspended as well. These policies don't stop bullies, they encourage them.
Yep, Just listened to the same crap from the media, sans the family, right after he was released on bail: A good boy, bullied, he was a victim, if he couldn't get his hands on a gun....rah-rah-rah. Nothing at all about the victims.
Another "If Obama had a Son" diatribe.
He should have NEVER been released. As far as the media, these people cant seem to report anything advocating far left DEMOCRAT party opinions and agenda rather than real meaningful news as well as empirical facts.
The real victims are the many traumatized by the punks violence and those recovering in the hospital.
My post is referring to the 15 year old who was shot, i.e. the victim. Apparently the police have video that may show the 15 year old, mild mannered kid started the fight. Not saying shooting someone is the answer, but just maybe the family of the shooter was correct.
It will be interesting to see if the school does have records where multiple bullying reports were made with no action taken. How culpable does the school become if it doesn't protect its students when aggressors are identified and not held accountable?

Copy/paste from Fox News:
Footage of the fight – currently in possession of police as evidence – has "shocked" the Selby family.
"We’ve seen the video ourselves," Kathy Selby, the victim's grandmother, told FOX 4 News. "We were shocked to see the video because we’ve never ever seen him that way before. I've never seen him fight with even his sister or his older brother. He’s a mild-mannered, soft-spoken child."
When I first started driving a school bus, I had an incident. Two seventh graders were running onto the bus at school. The boy grabbed the girls shirt to slow her down. I stuck my arm out between them to separate. The boy told the Principal I grabbed his shirt. There was a full scale investigation, including review of camera footage.
They threatened to turn it over to Social Services. My wife wanted me to quit, but I was determined to fight it.
I told them had it been my 13 year old daughter getting her clothes pulled, I would press charges against the boy. I asked that the girls parents be brought in.
After making me feel like a criminal, they dropped the issue.
I decided then that if an altercation happened on the bus again, I would not get involved.
I’ll park the bus in a safe place, call the boss, and have my wife come pick me up.
Nobody ever wants to include race in the conversation...................why not??????
Some of you obviously read family statements that are different than the ones I read. One thing they did was ask for a thorough investigation, something some people seem to not need before declaring a verdict.
Thanks Susie for clarifying, however....... the media is portraying the SHOOTER as the victim.
