The folks at DQ are going to be upset at this news.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Nothing like a little "Boo-Hoo-Dead-Kitty"
DQ......just give me a Dilly Bar to go with an Orange Julius. Almost sounds like I'm in one of those Roman Pukeatoriums!
I like Chinese food and DQ. I especially like Indian Food.
I wouldn't eat at Taco Bell if it was free.
If it's slower than I am, it's lunch.
I prefer Indian food..............
Chinese food for the American market is just trays full of slop. It would probably be a lot better to be able to go to China and sample REAL regional foods. But, will I go to China for culinary delights? Prolly not.
That's true of Mexico too, Mohawk. There's lots more to regional Mexican food than tacos and burritos. But I'm not going there.
Cat tastes like chicken .
...Mexican food in Mexico is mostly terrible, really bad...Ive eaten all over Mexico, spent a year walking all over Mexico years ago right after college, and the only food I ate that wasnt really bad, was SOME food from street vendors, food in resort areas _Can Cun, Vera Cruz, Cozumel , etc...and steak in most areas...they do raise some good beef(!)...
...Luckily, there are some REALLY GOOD "Tex-Mex" places around here, I could eat it everyday...some people think they"re eating authentic, "old Mexico" food at these places...most people wouldn't recognize "authentic" old Mexico food, and most wouldn't eat the crap...
😁😁😁
Chinese, Mexican in the USA is very regional and catered to the local people when it was first introduced... I enjoy Tex-Mex, but can also get into Cali-Mex, Santa-fe style (New Mexico & Arizona) but have not found anything good north of Oklahoma or east of Texas unless going to a Mom and Pop in a immigrant neighborhood. As for the Chinese, I stay away from any that offer a buffet and usually go to a known chain, but still got food poisoning at a major chain in Chicago.
Half a century ago, one could wander around in Mexico without fearing for one's life, and I did. Spent many weekends across the border from Laredo on fishing trips. In the smaller villas, one could find cantinas and even private homes quite willing to provide a meal. Such meals always began with soup and then with menus heavy with beans, veggies, and either chicken or goat, sometimes pork. And ALWAYS tortillas. The veggies included cactus pads and roots I still can't name, but all quite good.
I learned that mesquite-roasted kid goat is the finest meat on the planet.
Chinese food...
I love Asian. But, I also love tofu and stir fried vegetables, with plenty of garlic/spices/oyster sauce and chicken/pork and beef.
Over a generous bed of white/jasmine/sticky rice.
I've eaten a lot of street vendor food, on Okinawa and main land Japan at 4 am. If it was cat/dog, I don't care, because it was just the thing I needed at that time, stumbling out of a bar, before stumbling into a cab, to take me to morning PT.
Edit: memories!
Location, location, location!!!!
I was in Amsterdam walking down the street and saw a cat sleeping on a resturant table. Thought it was so funny I took a photo. And yes this was a Chinese resturant.
Constipated China man's name, Hung chow.
my wife likes it, me not so much but I tell her lets go you like it I can made do they always have
dogI mean chicken cooked a dozen different ways and they seem to have some items my will will not eat or try . ( but I will at least try it )Mmmmmmmmmmmm ........ Moo Goo Gia Kitty.
Yup............Rocky...........I have travelled through every country between here down to Colombia..........and what is presented to the US market is a poor representation of what is cooked and eaten in those many countries in between.
In Panama we used to eat "monkey meat". It was grilled on skewers on the street. I'm sure it was just cheap beef.
Be very wary of Ceviche though...................it is really tasty........but can also make you pretty sick when you buy it from street stalls. Lime juice doesn't "cook" everything................but the locals don't seem to be affected
Served by the chef at the table... flame seared
Long ago, we had a neighbor who was hosting an exchange student from El Salvador.
A few weeks after the student arrived the neighbor put out signs all around looking for his daughters 2 Guinea pigs! 😁
meat is meat
Hopefully some day we will get on board with the horse meat market. It is good eating.
The way things are going Ginger Cat Fu Young might be on your menu soon.
