She is definitely going to be looking for a new job. As Armorer she is responsible for the weapons and their safe use on a set. I am no fan of Alec Baldwin, but he was not responsible for the shooting. The person who gave him the gun and said it was good to go is the one responsible.

I'm going to take a wild guess. I bet she is not a member of Mensa.

When I join fakebook and tweetle, I'll remember to take my profile pic in a Walmart restroom. Really gives it a touch of class.

Baldwin is responsible , if 4 people handle a gun before handing it to me and declaring it empty I will always check to make sure . The end user is responsible ,

Why did he point the gun at anyone? He is at fault!

There is union talk, non-union talk , everyone is passing blame . It all stops on Baldwin

I can't speak to Baldwin's knowledge or experience regarding firearms but I'm going to say that many actors that handle guns on a movie set don't know spit about firearms and they may not even know to check the weapon so I think that the all the weight of responsibility should rest on the shoulders of the Armorer/prop master and not the actor.

The "prop guns" I know about are real guns.

This was her 2nd movie. She recently said in a podcast that she didn’t think she was ready. The assistant director is the one who handed Baldwin the gun after saying it was a cold gun. Baldwin isn’t a newbie to guns either. They had a bunch of people walk off set due to unsafe conditions in addition to other things. She might not even be the armorer on set that day as so many walked off and non union people came in. Blame is on 3 people imo. The armorer for having live rounds on set, the AD for handing out a hot gun without checking it and why was the AD even handling it, and on Baldwin for not checking it.

Baldwin and his cronies preach long and hard for gun "control", then fail to do exactly that. Boils down to the fact that it's not about the gun, but about control.

Of course Alec Baldwin is totally responsible for the shooting! When handed the gun, he stupidly took the word of someone else that it was safe. Safe gun handling demands that he verify if the gun is safe. Then, he carelessly fired the gun with the barrel NOT pointed in a safe direction. Oh, but then he apologized and expressed his condolences to the families of his victims, which totaly excuses his actions...... only in a liberal Hollywood world. Where would a non-liberal, non-celebrity individual be right now? Huh?

from what little I know a prop gun can be any thing from a solid plastic loo alike to a full on real gun that's modified to take blanks or just made up creations to fit the movie and i have heard real guns and live ammo are/ or least were used in movies

as stated most actors I would say know nothing about a gun except when told to point or pull the trigger that's there job , its sad they hate guns in public on a personal level like the POS in this event but most make there living using guns in the movies like Nunn and many more have stated if they truly felt that much distain about a gun they would refuse to use one in any movie ( follow the money )

Common sense was lacking along with proper training were missing.

Try to hand me a firearm with the action closed and or cylinder closed I will no touch it even if I just saw it checked for a live round.

I will not pass a firearm to another person unlees it is in the same condition.
