Buying gas to put in vehicles to 'play' is one thing. Buying gas/diesel to run farm equipment and OTR trucks is an entirely different deal. Putting $30 worth of gas in a dinky SUV when you're spend a 6 figure income is NOTHING compared to feeding a combine, high horsepower tractor, or 18 wheeler when your income is a question mark. Spending the cost of that dinky SUV on fertilizer to grow next year's crop for an unknown return is a real eye opener.
Shutting down transportation and ag production seems to be one of the primary missions of the current administration.
If you guys had them 'lectric cars you wouldn't need to worry about gas prices. sarc off now
Jumped 40 cents in a day last week around western screw york, was $3.49 yesterday. Diesel edging toward $4.00.
As we know, the price of fuel drives up the cost of all consumer goods.
Bought 40 lbs. of black sunflower seed from the local hardware store yesterday, price is up 50 % since last time !
Daughter works for an accounting firm down in the Salt Lake area. They have been having meetings on new tax rules etc.. She said everyone is flabbergasted at the attack on business coming down the pike. Boih large and small.

Just wait when they pass along those Natural Gas prices to the public this winter! You will not be able to pay for very much heating if you are poor. You can just freeze to death I guess,

It was apx. 2.49 in TN when I got in this situation (sick-hospital) , now im living with Daughter & Famiy in S. AL . from the looks of things , I will never drive again ! sold both vehicles : Gas not important to me ,,, sorry bout you guys that have to deal with this .

Filled up the van @ costco last week for $3.25 gal. 89 octane would have been $3.79. Gotta fill the commuter car this morning on my way home. We'll see if it's going to be more painful.

Went to Kroger for groceries and to get the discount on gas using points, would have been about $2.75 with the points I had, but all the pumps were shut down... Kid said he didn't know when they would be fixed... Glad I wasn't completely empty, will probably get gas tomorrow at a closer station for higher costs...
