nail guns. To shoot 16d nails? Who, and are they tough enough to really do the job? Thanks

Real good source of info. Thanks for that link.
I have used the gas powered Paslode many times works like a champion
I have that Paslode advertised. Shoots about 1000+ nails per gas cylinder. No more hand hammering if the gun will reach in and do the job. It also serves as a nice seat gun for areas in this country... Illinois ... that does not allow pistols .
Dewalt makes one
Most of the big name cordless tool makers have a framing nailer. Ridgid just joined the list.
I don't care for DeWalt due to the "spool up" sequence. If you're trying to nail something in place, it takes too long. Ridgid claims 'no wait'. Don't know about others.
I'm still using an air nailer but the cordless would make building deer stands and doing pole barn work easier.
I have the DeWalt but have not used it yet...

I have not used one personally, but have seen them in use many times, by pros. There are battery powered ones and there are ones that use a gas cartridge.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Abuntly!!! Wasn't even sure if they made em for that heavy of nail. Youre expert advise was EZ to follow and to the point.
The Paslode uses a gas cartridge And a Battery. Yes I have nailed floors , walls, decks...
I do what I can and no more.

Here's my favorite. Put up a fence from the back porch.
I use the Paslode gas nailers, framers, trim, and brad guns. Gas is pretty expensive.Framing nails up to 3 1/2 inches long
Work good, just need to keep them clean and occasionally gone over by a repair tech.
Use a air powered framer when the wood is really hard, can you say engineered beams, like a rock.
Another vote for the Pasloade
Brother has the DeWalt, agree that it is not as fast as the Paslode
Now that Big Red makes one I will have to look at it
Brother is Yellow I am Red . We both think we have the better tools😉
Can they be used as open carry and concealed carry with the holster?
Depends on whether you wear suspenders or belt.
How accurate are they for shot groups?
Minute of 2x6 @ contact range.
Do they have hollow point nails and should galvanized or regular steel nails be user for personal protection?
I'd use the ringshanks for added tissue damage.
The shorter nails will get more velocity.. Velocity rules
Thanks all
