S&W 637 in a Don Hume speed scabbard.
Very comfortable and easily concealed.

Yes Sir!! I love me a S&W "Five Shot".
Yep, we have two of those, but need good carry rigs. Thanks to BCB I may have just found some.
My search finds a DeSantis Speed Scabbard, but not a Don Hume?
Both of mine are hammerless as I will never need to fire them single action and I don't want a hammer as I prefer to carry in an inside the pocket holster.
I have carried a M38 S&W off and on since 1982. It is worn and looks rough but it goes bang every time. It was my 1st CC gun I ever bought, I was 22.
I have a 637 that was my first purchase off of the other side. I carry it often in a pocket holster. Never had it snag on anything.
I've dispatched more than a few skunks/*/grinners(opposums) with it.
Mostly single action.
That's cool. I shot thousands of rounds double action when I was younger and got pretty good at it. I shot a lot of bowling pin and PPC matches.
Looks like the trigger is partially exposed with this setup. Can't say I would get on board with that. Seems to be asking for trouble.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Nice set up
I have a j-frame with the shrouded hammer. I've carried it for 30+ years. It is so rough a lot of folks here would cringe if they seen it. It still goes bang and is surprisingly accurate for a snub nose.
I have two of those but in brown.
Wife originally had a 38 airweight for her carry piece but began to have some hand strength problems and switched to a ruger sr22. I took over her 38 for casual carry . With a good pocket holster it has earned a place in my daily carry routine in the summertime .
I didn't say it was perfect, or that anyone else should carry it. The "exposed trigger" might just be a function of camera angle. I just said it was my current favorite, and it is.
For revolver carry, the SP101 2 1/4" .357 works well for me.
I've never been able to find a way to like Ruger triggers.
