Having a true classic tonight: a Highball. Jack Daniels Rye and ginger ale. Made SWMBO a Rye Manhattan, another original classic.
Anticipating the candy horde starting any time now. In Utah, the faithful don't violate holy Sunday for anything. So twig or tweeds are tonight.
I may be a bit crazy - but I didn't drive myself.

Knocks me to my knees
You’re the only friend
There has ever been
That didn’t do me wrong….
a small sip of Templeton rye for me tonight.
Turn the lights out and don't answer the door.
Made 5 lbs of venison jerky today, 1/2 of it seasoned with a couple of (4) shots of George Dickel, just for flavor, you know. Now I 'm sitting here nursing a little of the same on the rocks.
Linie Aquavit for me tonight. Ice ICE cold, neat. Wowzers that stuff clears your sinuses.

12 year old Tennessee Whiskey
I don't drink much alcohol, but I do like an occasional highball. But just one please. 🧐
I'm a beer drinker but was handed a glass of Costco's Kirkland brand blended Canadian whisky with a little water. Really a great mix!
My friends, Evans and Williams.
Woodford Reserve, with a few drops of water.
As far as the Trick or Treaters. laid in a supply of those little 7 oz. Millers and some Coronitas.
No, not for the kids- for the Dads walking the kids around.
Wife had one of the Halloween specials at Applebees the other day, Not sure what was in it but if I were drinking those would go down awfully easy :)
Saw those on the special drinks menu. I thought they sounded godawful. Wife said, "That's a diabetic coma in a glass."
Those special foo foo drinks will also drain your wallet.
Reminds me of those Sloe Gin Fix drinks the ladies enjoyed back in the '70's.
That was back when I paid close attention to what the ladies liked. 😁
While away from here I really got in to Negroni.
I also found a tasty Rum. Gracias Madre. On it's own it's kind a strong in "spice" but put the 750ml in to a 1.75Lt (first be sure to take out 750ml out of the 1.75Lt bottle) of Captain Morgan or Black Seal Rum. Or find your happy medium. Really livens up the Cuba Libre' Or Rum and strong Ginger Beer.
