Martha's new perch.....

Since most of the leaves are off the trees, Martha spends a lot of time sitting on branches of a small tree by the corner of the house...she watches all that goes on in the yard and on the porch....and then jumps down and goes after whatever catches her interest.....

What a cutie!

My always indoors house cat "Junior" is very jealous of your Martha! After seeing these pictures he has been on a hunger strike!
Martha is getting big. Looking more cat like and less kittenish. More regal as befits the feline bloodline.
Hoping you have no red tail hawks in the area. Two days ago a red tail swooped down and carried off a neighborhood cat in the back yard.
Yes I have thought about that as we have a lot of them in the area. Lots of eagles too, but the biggest concern I have for her remains all the yotes out there
Be careful. He will show up missing, hawks and yotes are cat lovers
My girlfriends daughter lives 4 miles inside the Perimeter in Atlanta. Suburbia. In that neighborhood an outdoor cat wont live for a year. Coyotes
I grew up 3 miles from there and there were no coyotes in 1970. They are moving in from Texas! How did they cross the Mississippi?.
Before we adopted our "Junior", the last cat "Vito" who was an indoor\outdoor cat we had for several years just suddenly disappeared one morning without a trace. Not a hide nor hair of poor Vito was ever found.
Adopted Junior 3 1\2 years ago and he has never left the house but once when I took him in for neutering and shots. He did follow me out the door to the driveway a long while back but when he hit the outside, he froze up in total fear. I had to pick him up and put him back inside. He has never done that again.
